Note8 Pro. Surprisingly using the spen more and more Battery life is decent Good enough power Con. I miss wider phones I hate how tall it is wish it was wider. Finger print sensor location was an after thought. Not a fan of social or Iris scanning.
Asher Wilson
I like games so an iphone. Shitty s8 can't run anything decently.

Moto X Play dual sim
Pros Overall nice phone. No bloatware. Dual sim
Cons I hate the nougat quick settings in the statusbar No fingerprint reader
Xperia XA1 Pro >Good camera >Dedicated camera button >Great battery >Only like 200 USD >Good performance >Solid body and interesting shape >Sound improvements like ClearAudio+ for good music listening >Good speakers Cons >Shape makes screen protectors and cases awkward (screen is slightly curved at edges) >Kinda buggy at times >Usb c >No fingerprint reader>
Galaxy S8 dual SIM. Company phone. Have work SIM in one slot and personal SIM in the other.
Can't complain for $0

The $150 iPhone SE gets you what an $800 Android can't: actual support. Android phones get dropped 2 years after release, 3 if you're lucky. Yet even the iPhone 5s is still supported, and it came out in 2013. 5 years ago. Go ahead and empty your wallet to a company that can't even be bothered to push security updates. I'm sure it's worth it.

LGV30 Pros >headphone jack is super powered >battery lasts me days (literally) >screen is big and bright >usb c (yeah putting this under pros, I like to be an "early adaptor" to new standards when I can help it. And it's just better. Fight me) >amazing cameras Cons >locked bootloader (on carrier models) >not the nicest looking screen on a flagship, but not bad at all >mine is a boring silver color, love the S9 purple but I digress >PRICE!
Gabriel Thomas
>iPhone 7 pro the performance of the phone is really good everything runs smoothly good camera decent battery life con its very thin, it slides from your hand iToddler - applememe other insults are send towards apple users xd lmao
Is a good phone I dont feel like I need to upgrade to another one anytime soon

Redmi Note 4 >Solid battery and specs Con- Headphone jack faulty after a few months. I cannot use the 3.5mm jack if wifi is enabled...software seems buggy with miui latest update
Hunter Carter

Ebay. Can get a like new one for well under $200 in Canada so $150 shouldn't be hard to find in the US.
Elijah Baker
>apple doesn't into security I think I remember something about not even the fbi could unlock one? security comes and a premium, so does quality
Brandon Long
people still use screen protectors on their phones?

My screen's been saved from some pretty nasty scratches

OnePlus 5t Pros: OLED is too good Best fingerprint scanner (muh bot net) It's fast as fuck Headphone jack Cons: Only 1080p Speaker is in a terrible position and sucks No waterproofing
Hunter Sanders
HP Elite x3 >pros Good battery Windows 10 Mobile Continuum >cons Bluetooth radio is bad
Hunter Phillips
I own an unlocked moto g5 plus, and its great. things I love: >1080p IPS panel looks really good >4gb/64gb model performs excellent, ive never experienced slowdown ever >built like a fucking tank, aluminum backs will always defeat meme glass backs >camera just werks >gestures and notification system kick major ass things i hate: >battery life is mediocre I see no reason to buy a moto g6 at all, this is really where it's at
Bentley Sanchez
V20 for me
Pros >highly repairable >cheap for what it is >nice specs >has all ports, sd, ir, QC
Cons >performs much worse than other phones with the same specs >lol updates >no qi i guess
Jose Gomez

IPhone SE
Pros >extremely portable >not stupid thin >peppy enough to handle my streaming addiction Cons >battey life could be better >iOS needs jailbreak or its very limiting >relying on apple to keep making good products in the future after what they did to the mini, mbp, and X is scaring me 8/8 phone overall, just wish there were more competitors in the sub-5" segment. I loved my old samsung compact. It's a shame they discontinued those.

Pixel 2 XL Fave feature is always having the most current version of Android. I had a Nexus 6P and was perfectly happy with it but when updates stopped it was time to upgrade. Luckily this one supposed to get updates for 3 years so I'm locked in for a while.
Blake Bennett
Well thats because it is the v30. I stuck with v20 for a reason. Still affordable :^)
Jaxson Bennett
I got mine on amazon certified refurbished for $175 last year. They're probably under $150 now.
Lucas Nelson
I also own LG v20. What case you have on it op? Also any cool customization? Different launcher etc?
I got it because I like having removable battery and sd card slot. And nothing else from that gen or forward has those things. Nice audio stuff was a bonus for me also.
William Price
I have a Blackberry (a Z30, more specifically), which I've had for 4 years or so now.
I really like it. At the time of buying it, it had pretty good specs for its price (especially the camera), and it was unlocked. The battery is still perfectly fine, and the screen doesn't have so much as a crack despite having been dropped many times. And, while I didn't care about this at the time (since I hadn't been exposed to Jow Forums yet), now I'm quite happy to have a smartphone which isn't part of the Android/Google botnet, and which isn't an overpriced basedfag toys-r-us-tier Iphone. Of course, not having access to plenty of apps is certainly a downside, but I've managed without. The amazon appstore works decently, for example it has duolingo which I've used.
Battery life on that is also spectacular I hear. Is it true?
Caleb Hernandez
V20 with a $15-20 waterproof case.
Christopher Morris
zte blade v8 pro Good: >cheap >usb-c >quickcharge >nfc, don't use it though cause masterpass won't work >625 >battery over 3000mah >mSD support Bad: >stuck on marshmallow and they said they have no plans for unlocking the bootloader >MiFavor is such shit I find apps I haven't had open days after in the app switcher menu >Google will slow this fucker down, but I think it's due to being on Nova Beta >battery is starting to show signs of wear
Not bad overall, but wouldn't recommend it and will never buy a ZTE phone again
Jason Jenkins
Also, I should mention that the Blackberry OS is quite nice, it seems much comfier than Android/Iphone from what I've seen.
Lincoln Adams
>waterproof case
When has this ever been good.
Jacob Price
i have that one as well, it's ok for the price.
see pic this is a 5000mah battery, which is more than enough for me as i charge it over night anyway. there are android phones with 10000mah batteries as well. gsmarena.com/battery-test.php3?
iPhone X The Good >screen >performance >premium service The Bad >notch >battey life isn't amazing >needs jailbreak bad 4 outta 5 considering the price is too damn high. I'm probably going to sell it and trade down to the SE2 when I comes out. Big phone doesn't do much for me.
Ryan Jackson
Same here, no Oreo update. :c But hey, it's easy to root!
You posted it. LG V20 is seriously the unsung hero of phones. >Snapdragon 820 >Amazing audio >Great camera(s) >64GB internal + microSD slot >Removable battery >USB C + quickcharge 3
Xavier Jones
thinking of buying v20 now. can i?
Adam Wilson
V20 as well. >removeable battery >dual sim + sd card slot >great camera + software to go along with it >has dbrand skins for it >the back(easy removeable) cover is milled aluminium and high quality Cons: >slippery, got a skin for it >not so easy to root last time i checked
Easton Wood
>Ebay >Refurb

S8+ Snapdragon used pros >Nice screen >Good battery for me when watching shows >No lag >microSD support >Decent camera cons >Samsung botnet. Must wait a few years for an unlocked bootloader if it is ever found. >Bixby button is useless. Wish I could remap it >Cracked screen, but it isn't too bad desu. Definitely not worth replacing at this time. >No removable battery >No FM radio
Dylan Harris
the og Google pixel. Got it as a replacement for my 5x which was starting to break. I really like it so far!
So it's slower because its software is slower? And this is better somehow?
The real answer is probly the disk encryption.
Jordan Carter

Show me any of those phones being able to record 4K60 or exporting 4K footage quicker than the iPhone X. I'll wait. Pajeet tier 'i tapp icon sir' bullshit isn't a performance test and you know it. There's a load of factors in play. Its only a comparison between the same OSes on different phones.
You're going to post some retarded hindu shit and meme your way out of giving proof, or just not reply. You're incredibly dumb and very predictable. Here's footage of you proving the MacBook Air is shit. Look at yourself.
No matter how butthurt you are iPhone will perform worse in general.
Gabriel Garcia
i'd agree if it was waterproof. got drunk at a camping trip with friends and it got wet, fucked it up completely so got a pixel 2 now.
Tyler Kelly
I carry a One Plus 5. Favourite feature is definitely fast changing. The processor is blazing fast Then, it has good camera.
I'll use this for at least 2 more years because it's an amazing phone overall.

Not OP, but for a case I use the Obliq Flex Pro, its a nice fit and not too bulky. For customization, if you root it you can take away the nav bar and install a gesture navigation app instead. Helps to get a lot more screen to use. For launcher, I've decided on Nova Launcher due to how nice it looks, the customizability of it, and the support it has. I'd recommend it.
I've rooted it, it's not too bad, at least for the one I'm using (H918). Not so sure about the other kinds though
Kevin Walker
>double tap on keyboard while typing to move the cursor >swiping left on keyboard to delete a word >scrolling with the keyboard (capacitively or using space and shift+space) >BlackBerry Hub >FM radio
Do the stock drivers(camera for example) hold after rooting? I have a 990ds
Alexander Gray
Essential phone >Great Update Cycles, only slightly behind Google >Great OLED screen >Amazing Battery Life >Minimal in design and software >Good Hardware >huge in phone storage >Great Company, open with customers, and tries their hardest to fix any and all issues despite rough (but over hyped) problems at launch
Only con is the company cut the sequel for now since every jew reviewer overly bashed it early on Literally fite me
absolutely. camera worked fine, fact I installed the v30 camera just for shits and giggles.
Luis Turner
Pixel 2 XL
>Squeeze Active Edge >Stock Android >God tier camera >Long battery life >Front face speakers >IP67 >1440p OLED >Guarantee 3-year updates with the lastest Android first
v20 second screen needed to be far more accessible to the end user, and developers didn't take advantage of it as they could have (for obvious reasons) the v30 with a removable/replaceable battery would have been the ideal phone, but such is life. t. fellow v20 owner

Nokia 8 >Pros Fast updates Stock android Built like a tank
>Cons No notification light Unreliable fingerprint scanner Shitty camera
I preferred my Oneplus 3 for the reasons
Xavier Perez
6s
literally nothing compelling enough to make me upgrade
still hate apple though
Jaxson Howard
pros >huge battery that lasts an entire week of usage, you can even charge another phone with it using an otg cable >less than 300 leaf bucks >general performance feels fluid and natural despite the lower clock speed (8 cores, 4x 1.5 GHz 4x 1.0 GHz, 3 GB RAM) >low amount of bloatware >thick and heavy, makes flagships look like twigs (and some of them might snap like one too) >not sure how good the dac actually is, but there's no hissing noises like my s5 does >fairly easy to disassemble and repair, no heat gun needed for the back panel
cons >uses extended micro usb tips, review sites never seem to mention that, and finding a third party cable was a pain in the ass >no notification light >shit camera >4g service doesn't work everywhere >comes with an european wall adapter, seller included a free euro to us adapter but others might not >chinkphone, some of the first party software isn't even translated properly >the included case is pretty much mandatory because the corners are sharp enough to be uncomfortable to hold otherwise. you could probably bludgeon someone with it overall no buyer's remorse past the 4g not working everywhere part
