thanks user, they are pretty nice.

what headphone stands are those?

What are you listening to? Felt like some nostalgia. What game is this song of?

wat do?

>spend $500+ on headphones
>listen to anime music you dont even understand

some wooaudio ones, i picked them up second hand, they are pretty expensive new.

never studied japanese, understand like 70% of it thanks to years and years reading subtitles
can't read though, I need to start listening to anime music I guess

buypig user is that you? did you sell everything?

buypig user died from drinking bacon grease

narr, i sold my k712 and thx00.
1990 basically just replaces them both.

I know that feel.

Best open-headphone for around $100? I've listened to Sennheisers and Audiotechnica headphones that sound good but those particular headphones were more in the $200-300 range. I'm just looking for something cheap-ish to use at the computer so my speakers aren't picked up by my mic.

Attached: cutecat.jpg (284x284, 9K)

Look at superlux or AKG K702

Also beyerdynamic DT 990

Stax will replace both your lcd 2 and your dt1990

Beyer t1 $853 yea or nay

Expect to be laughed at if you buy a t1 over stax

>day 13 of saving up for stax

i just pawned off one of my dads ps4 contollers

Attached: 1491968603989.png (786x618, 35K)

stax isn't practical for anything apart from sitting in one spot for hours on end. you can't game with them, they are no good for studio work, you can't move around with them like my 1990's. yeah that's gonna be a pass, I'm sure Steely Dan sounds great though.

Are ATH-AD700X or HD 579s any good? They are both pretty cheap on Amazon right now.

Attached: trustNoOneNotEvenYourGun.jpg (1280x852, 312K)

>selling other people's stuff to buy stax
That's the spirit, user!

I don't get it, are the headphones trash?

I think you are going to be disappointed.

You're dedicated though.

All of these statements are wrong and you'll understand how stupid you sound in the future if you ever decide to upgrade.

Narr, I'm good thanks

Babies, I want my nobsound NS-10G.

I just got the BeatsX at $89 which was $60 off. I think it's a great value for what it is, especially since I have an iPhone.

I was wondering if there's anything better for the price. All the "audiophile brand" Bluetooth earphones I've looked at are all $100+.

Audeze master race checking in

The Beats of audiophile headphones.

what model u got

The only acceptable Audeze headphone is the lcdx or lcd2c, everything else is overpriced wank.

user, almost no one in this thread is interested in IEMs, let alone Bluetooth ones.

Well I don't wanna trip over my wires while working out, and headphones are not /fa/.

Both of those are overpriced by 2x their cost, user.

opposed to what?

So, i just purchased these things and want to know, is it possible to stick some headset padding in it as is or would i have to rip of or shave down the padding it already has?

Attached: Screenshot_2018-06-11-22-04-37.png (720x1280, 175K)

Considering lcd-3 user was blown away by his $380 L300, and considering that people don't even think the lcd-2c is that great as it turned out to be a worse performing lcd-2, I'd say one word:

Stax.

Fucking over priced, paid around 600 and it's only marginally better than the dt-880, just don't bother.

Also to prove that their are grado owners out there, my ps1000e that I will now shill to /hpg/

Attached: 20180425_142953.jpg (2016x1512, 903K)

Where can you get a l300 for $380 neet bux?
l300 in Australia + energiser runs easy $1200

>$380 L300
What about the amp user? And step down transformer an shiiit

Attached: Capture.jpg (639x338, 22K)

This is the type of padding I'm talking about. I like the larger surface area.

Attached: Screenshot_2018-06-11-22-30-12.png (720x1280, 252K)

Everything but AKG is expensive in Australia, buy used
What about the amp that everyone buys for their audeze headphone? :)

I'm not saying you shouldn't buy Bluetooth IEMs.

Imagine going with your HD660S' to the gym, it will be a burden.

Barely anyone can recommend BT IEMs here, as the majority couldn't give a rats ass about them.

If your beats work fine, why trade them in for another pair of IEMs?

The HD660 S sound good.

So does the Orpheus, but its trash for the price so why bother talking about it?

Not my point.

That huge Australian second hand market for stax....

Audeze are actually not too badly priced in Australia.

Attached: 1522356233454.png (500x500, 33K)

yea because it's my point

I'm satisfied with the BeatsX.

I'm just surprised that a brand like Beats by Dre or Apple could put out headphones that are a good value.

Why didn't you go for the L700 instead?

Audezes are always badly priced except when they are 50% discounted

yahoo.aleado.com/lot?auctionID=s586043522

Reap from Japs too clannish to use ebay

how do i access this 2nd market is aus? cant find anything

I have had a 668b for a couple of weeks now and I am wondering if there are some recommended EARPADS? Currently considering pic related but I am wondering if there is something better/more comfy

got anything bad to say about dt1990? i'm two days away from ordering them.

nah i think they're just about right except for replacement parts

they could be a lot worse

Attached: dasd.png (823x812, 315K)

Apple and Beats have high margins, so you probably still got jewed.

I heard that beats uses an EQ chip in some of their headphones, that's probably why they don't sound like shit.

I don't know why you are soliciting for IEM advice when you are completely satisfied.

>got anything bad to say about dt1990
Another headphone that has impressions that say they are detailed "kinda like stax" but they aren't stax. They are also close to the price of an srs-3100 so just buy stax.

they are brighter than hd600's and k712, sometimes they are a bit harsh. Otherwise they are pretty nice, good dynamics and build quality, I'm using them as a daily driver now.

I'm just wondering if there's better for the price

you from /csg/?

>$339 headband
confirmed jews, jeez I want a business so hard.

No. Audezes are crap.

I'll probably get those next just so I can have the best of both stax, the real stax and the fake stax.

Plus the l700 isn't sell any cheaper than the 007a so I figured maybe someone will be desperate to pawn it off for below $1k, otherwise I'll just grab one by the end of august or around there.

Probably yes, but I don't think it's worth looking in to.

Audio is the most cancerous hobby I know of.

You'll have to look into it yourself. There is a lot of audiofoolery out there. GL user.

I got my 007a for 1200 and L700 for 1000, it's definitely possible.

I do shit post there yes but if you have something good on amazon I would consider it as well

>they are brighter than hd600
that's why I want them, 600 sounds like "wall of sound" recently to me, want a bit more separation
how are the voices? not just in music, in general

Where are you buying your stuff? I'm getting most mine off ebay but if yahoo auction is easy to use I might do some shopping there.

Stax.

Ebay and the head-fi classfiieds

I'm no Amazon advocate, I love CS.
Just wondering.

The cheap eBay pads for $4 work well on my 668Bs but not so well on the 669s.

Help

vocals are fine, separation and imaging is pretty fantastic; Definitely a step up in that department.

he gives good reviews to weird things, and states why he gives them good reviews
you need to actually listen to what he says to understand if you want it or not

not even a stax fag, but its literally nothing.

Attached: 1517474307512.png (941x887, 199K)

thanks! going to order them soon-ish
treble doesn't bother me so it's going to be exactly what I need.

Is he really fat?

he is a thicc boye

Attached: dwhwd.jpg (499x280, 83K)

>not even a stax fag
Not yet you aren't, but you will be. Everyone will be eventually.

watch one of his videos and find out

you can tell by his fat tiny sausage fingers, chubby arms and his beer gut when he looks down lmao

>but its literally nothing.
I can hear how cable moves when I move my head with normal headphones, this "nothing" would drive me mad.

Sure if it's not too much trouble

Yeah, I know he was a bit on the THICC side but is he like THICC T H I C C?

Narr, I'm at the end of the line, i heard l300's and 700, they are nice, good if you have a dedicated listening setup. but it doesn't fit anywhere into my life, not practical enough.
I would rather put my money towards other things, holiday, new motorbike, tv.

>with normal headphones
kek. even subconsciously you understand that STAX are special and superior.

Bullshit. Also you can stack an srs-252 with a battery pack to get a transportable stax amp that lasts for a few days in between recharges
