It's easier to buy than it is to make. Ever sense they got robits to make things, it's just easier.

"Mind control" devices are available not sure how ubiquitous but it will certain allow communication between computers and humans at least on a rudimentary level. With most electronics being controlled by some sort of micro-computer, mind control will allow us to navigate the future internet world/gadgets/etc.

For material science, there would be abundance of lightweight superstrong materials. 3D printing mechanism would have advanced to the point of having molecular level controls. With possible maturity into 3d printing bringing molecular level printing to enthusianst's homes.

As for work, if artificial intelligence or something close is to come true, then work might be relegated to some service level things.

Computers of the future would have similar compute capabilities of the current day top500 supercomputers. Self-driving cars/airplanes/etc would be the norm.

2045 is 27 years away. Think back to what the world was like 27 years ago. Aka 1991. We were barely scratching the surface of internet. Our communication tools were pagers and bulky phones. Computers existed mainly for business/school purposes. Cars were vastly inferior. 1991 car vs 2018 cars. There were no drone technology. No smartphones. No usb devices. No LCD panels. No GPS. etc

Cars where superior and simpler with more driver focused shit not luxobarge interior over designed infotainment crap

>still can't afford a cybernetics even though they're like the new smartphones and basically no stores use cash anymore and society is fucking built around them
>don't really want to because they run a fuck ton of proprietary software and track you in every way possible
>read news
>0.1% of the world owns 99% of the wealth
>rich people have exclusive access to superior cybernetics and thus they basically live forever on top of being smarter, faster, and stronger
>advanced AI has been planning and running the global economy for a decade now
>probably going to get a visit from government relocation agents if I don't make ends meet
>will probably be shipped to mars to be a miner for basically no pay

It's time to stop living.

Why is the sun out? reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

there were even gps units for cars in 1991

that was only a prototype in the military not for civs like you bucko

Electronic direction displays were a (rare) thing at the time. They didn't have a gps though.

You can be always be antigloabal terrorist and get heroic death when some AI send murderbots for you.
