all the good addons have been ported over to the new engine, about:config is still there... what else would you need? chromium-based browsers are really shite in terms of features and customizability compared to firefox

just use firefox quantum, go through settings, disable crash reporter, disable safe browsing, enable anti-tracking, about:config, disable pocket, disable geolocation, get umatrix and ublock and you literally have the best browser out there currently

i've seen people suggest iridium but given germany's track record of censoring shit I wouldn't trust it, they don't even have a privacy policy on their site even though their browser sends requests to their own mirror of google's safe browsing list, also it's chromium based which automatically makes it limited garbage
same with ungoogled-chromium

I'd sooner trust a big company that has a lot of eyes monitoring its behavior and its products, like Mozilla, than some nobody who "debotnetted" chromium for me, I'm not going to spend the day checking the source code in case he put a backdoor in there somewhere

If you enable Do Not Track, it doesn't load the Google Analytics scripts.
