Depends on the objective. Spyware and information brokering? Probably want to focus on ease of use and functionality. FOSS? Polish it up as best as you can, and direct marketing efforts in light of news like Cambridge Analytica etc. People won't care until it affects them personally, so don't waste resources on marketing until something happens to make people, temporarily care about privacy. Jusy want to break M$ hegemony? Market it towards younger audiences. Young people will switch devices more often and are interested in mostly simple services. Older clientele will be less willing on average to try out something new, esp. in a business environment.

>Ubuntu's been around for years and never gained any traction, even when it used to come preinstalled on netbooks. I think that's mostly due to poor core development decisions that reduce millions of dollars of funding to ashes.

>How that distro should be named it needs to be named something simple like and understandble for your average joe something like >laptop linux has a nice ring to it >how it look must have BWIG CWICKKY BUBBONS!!! DAT GOO CWICKY CWICKY WEN U CWICK AND DEN APP WAUCHES!!! needs no customization as its too hard for normies to grasp needs to look like sleek with material design (MUH AESTHECITS) no autism >how should it behave to become attractive to consumers behave not autistic and look sleek and attractive (looks are everything for niggers) needs to cost at least $100 (if its not expensive its not good, duh) still FOSS though (normies dont know that they can get it for free and will think it has viruses or something becuase its free (duh)) needs to have a one click installer needs to have a team of SJW devs faggots who are 50% gay 30% trans 10% black 0% white (all women obvisouly) this is the recipe for success

it needs a simple name with colors easy on the eyes [see not orange and purple or puke green or off yellow] and it needs to come preinstalled on shittons of normie pc's and laptops and netbooks like dell and lenovo and sony and acer and HP. the company needs massive marketing on legacy media like tv and radio as well as internet marketing. it needs to be the sleek new thing that's "easy to use" and "doesn't get bogged down with viruses or trojans and etc." and "puts the customer and their privacy first"
