No i use geany

No

Nothing will be working even more than now

>vishnu studio
shoo shoo poo in loo

t. NEET

No i use CLion

I'm still on 2015.

Pretty much this. I don't even know what they are doing. Probably expecting more cloud shit, more bloatware, more spyware and basically that's all. Old VS is better than new.

t. luddite

I might reinstall windows for VS. I'm sick and tired of getting used to 'little bugs' or missing features in GNU IDEs.
VS's GUI is just too fucking good, and single keypress functionality does not exist on GNU in the same way.

reported for unpaid MS ad

>not using jetbrains ide

Costs money and is just not the same.

If they would add linux support I would literally suck their dicks.

As much as I love Jetbrains IDEs. Rider sucks balls in comparison to VS.

Call me when they finally have proper support for the latest C++ standard. Does the current version even support C++14?

oh boy

i would use jetbrains if they had good elixir support
(they don't)

Attached: 1353645614735.gif (209x213, 1.73M)

I would use Jetbrains if they had good Haskell support. They don't

>haskell
even shit tool as jetbrains doesn't support this mistake and meme """"language""""?

new version will just be a proprietary VS-code with pre-installed extensions behind the scenes and a more dialog-based UI

>he ignored all those news about improving compiling times and process

Reminder that Vim / Emacs are physically incapable of rendering unbroken indent lines because they can only display characters.

Attached: 1528274282498.png (1729x985, 121K)

Who the fuck cares, I use Vim alongside VS

I also use Emacs alongside VS for this reason. Freetards like to say "they can do anything" when this is not true.

yes because that means ill get new keyboard binds in my vim

t. Micro$hills

What's a good alternative IDE for C++ that's not bloated to shit with 15 gb of unnecessary crap? Trying to get rid of VS.

Just reinstall VS with minimalistic features?

Wrong logo, they forgot the whole "celebrate diversity" meme
There, I fixed it

Attached: IMG_20180614_111305_510.jpg (760x428, 32K)

>still 32 bit

What's wrong with celebrating diversity?

sh-sh-shut up f-faggot

No I use vim like an adult

> not using emace
What is wrong with you pajeets?

I move between emacs, VS and Eclipse all the time. Sometimes, you have to dig under the layers of bullshit in IDEs to get to essential config stuff and know whats actually going on.

But it's IDE not for Java.

POO

Attached: icon-of-microsoft-technologies.gif (849x458, 93K)

theres already full c++17 support and a bunch of c++20 features too you mongoloid.

Question:
Why should I care that Vim / Emacs are incapable of doing this?

Attached: 1516791782271.jpg (353x398, 33K)

Is it written in Jabbascript too?

Not really, 2017 has everything I need.

>No, I use vim like a NEET
Fixed for you.

Eclipse and qt creator pretty much do everything. VS was good in 2008 but then it went downhil. And you can't stick to an older version because it doesn't support modern languages.

Is it not built on js this time?

Is it finally integrated with Cortana? Can't wait to "Cortana write me a program that makes me rich."

i can't wait for my project file paths to be changed without any documentation again!

just launch a VM?..

I've had to use VS recently and the newest version is so much fucking better than older ones, even down to the installer, which actually lets you choose what packages are installed now.

>he needs lines to track indents
Maybe you should replace your head with a trashcan so you can get more use out of your body.

That VM will grow to 70gb when VS is installed.

Nah, both are much worse.

ITT: jobless permavirgins making their 100th fizzbuzz

>not microoptimizing fizzbuzz every day to keep your programming chops up
laughing at u

Maybe if you're retarded enough to install every package.

Exited for what?
Being a part of the botnet?

Call me when they support C11

you shouldn't. that user is just trying compensate for his strong inferiority feeling. dissing text editors for lacking a minor feature is a very strange way of doing that but I guess there are lots of special people here

Attached: Alfred-Adler.jpg (340x323, 14K)

there are only two acceptable C++ IDEs, QtCreator and KDevelop

All you need for Programming right here.

Attached: Screenshot (229).png (282x94, 52K)

Shitty version management and oversized packages. The git support also pathetic and some stability issues can appear too. Excited my ass!

Attached: 1527873859685.jpg (932x1030, 309K)

Nobody cares about C++
C#, Python and Java rule the world.

Netbeans is ok, but android studio have issues with the lack of ayymd features for the VM. Unity and VS are for idiots.

> no vim
> no emacs
> windows

truly pathetic

>meme esoteric language made by monkeys
Wanna know how I know you're a hobbyist?

>vim/emacs
biggest memes, only autists on Jow Forums use this garbage
>muh windows
Don't hyperventilate faggot i use Linux on my Thinkpad, it's just not a good desktop OS

You've exactly one sentence to justify that over a native install.

>goalposts
Not like your complaints have anything to do with Visual Studio itself anyway. Just use GCC or Clang instead of MSVC.

based durgasoft

t. incel virgins

Great another 10GB install

?

Attached: file.png (1290x720, 137K)

What's there to be excited about? Unironic question

as far as I know it'll have better code debugging/insights compared to 2017

great another cancer IDE
njoy your bloat OP

>WHAT IS COMMUNITY EDITION

Datagrip is really fucking nice to add to that list

Will it run on win7?

Not really since things like Atom, Gvim, Spacemacs, and Sublime exist.

Attached: 1528921277502-g.jpg (735x963, 122K)

they claimed they're not making any OS requirement changes with 2019
they're probably lying though

>no .NET
whats the fucking point

I believe them. Win7 is still a supported OS

>Atom

enjoy not having any RAM

>Datagrip
Not free tho

Emacs and GCC is all you need

Still amazing though, especially that its integrated into intellij

>One fucking year to fix WPF editor in VS2017.
Never again as beta tester.

cuckbrains really are something else

I only use VS for cuda

used it in college, liked it.
was forced to use eclipse, hated it.
went back to vs, missed eclipse.
now i just use eclipse.
#stockholm syndrome

his website made chuckle. he does try which is admirable.

>not free
>it costs money
just pirate it you fucking normies

No, they change the entire interface with each edition so you have to spend forever hunting through menus and windows trying to figure out where everything you actually need resides, among all the millions of buttons and features you will literally never use

Only if they improved CMake integration. Otherwise, eh.

It's disingenuous. There is nothing inherently good about "diversity" and companies like microsoft don't even believe in it anyways, they just use it to improve their public image.

>they change the entire interface with each edition
It's like they're trying to improve their product with each iteration

t. hello worlder programmer

No thanks I prefer opensource languages.
