O

who the hell is using mail client in 2018?

People who have jobs.

People with jobs

whats wrong with browser?

outlook / hotmail are atrocious. gmail has always been better ever since it came out. it's also been redesigned recently.

many companies don't have webmail

Just use gmail with desktop notifications.

I have to use Outlook at work and I wish it would be 5 seconds, but it's more like 30. The mailbox is huge and Outlook is bad, so not a good combo.

Webmail is often shit. Even if less shit like gmail it changes over time. I dont like change. I just want something simple that works.
Plus, i can have plugins doing shit that gmail cant. And i can use both my work and personal email in one window.

And IMHO google is not a good mail service, but thats just me.

Just use Thunderbird. It's not slow as shit. Although, don't store your password with it.

I am starting to wonder why we killed Lotus Notes for this shit

*install thunderbird*
Psss nothing personal goy.

>The shitty Windows 10 Mail App is more stable than Outlook

At work? Letting confidential mail go through some third party?

>Letting confidential mail go through some third party
Is microsoft any better?

No, but my boss kick my ass for using it

Better thunderbird than Zimbra or Outlook.

I use Apple Mail and Inbox by Gmail. Fight me.

>have job
>cant use fucking browser
>hurr durr

Where is she going?

Into the jungle to fix her foot

People who like using keyboard shortcuts
People who want an offline copy of their emails
People who aren't gay

Corporate environment. We have Outlook 2016.

My dad who has a job

Webmail is absolutely shit compared to desktop outlook. Not everything needs to be a goddamn browser spa, kid.

corporate slaves

>muh office

People with jobs use Thunderbird.

this and anyone who has multiple mail addresses and doesn't want to redirect everything to one messy mailbox, i.e. anyone with common sense

My workstation is decent so that's not really a issue for me. The main problem is the flat interface, the different components are not visually distinct enough to be quickly recognized for me.

2016 at work, 2010 at home.
