i started fucking with my i3 bar config and thought roman numeral marked workspaces would be neat so i whipped this up in my i3 config but the problem is that the workspaces have no inherent order (which you can actually see in the rice pic) and i get yelled at for having errors in my i3 config on startup

pic related is my i3 config, specifically the workspaces section, what did i do wrong here?

I'm a linux user since 2005, I haven't really used any version of windows newer than XP until the past couple of weeks. I bought a refurbished laptop and it came with Windows 10, and I thought I'd try it out before formatting and installing Debian.

I'm glad to see that windows still lets you have custom colour schemes, although you have to use 'high contrast mode' which some programs don't behave 100% correctly in. Also to change the titlebar colours I had to edit the registry, there was no simple menu button that let me do that.

I notice that for some reason, it does a lot of accessing the hard disk, even when I've got nothing open. No idea what it's doing, but it can't be good for battery life.

Anyway I'll probably install Debian within a few days.
