how do you deal with the screen tearing on classic theme, is there a solution for that?

I've just turned off my laptop, I'll show a pic tomorrow. Basically you have to change the value in the last column on the line of focused client. Everything is explained in i3 User Guide.

To my knowledge, no. However, some programs (such as MPV) have their own VSync control, so you get no tearing while playing movies. I also have no animations in my OS, and I don't have enabled the option to show window contents while moving them, so I barely get to see any teaing.
