thinking of buying an SSD, is the samsung EVO that good as most of them here also use it?
how many writes does it support currently?

Funny how the motherboards that end up lasting the longest are the green PCB boards.

CPU temperature sensor is off by +60°C in Speccy for whatever reason. Shows fine in other programs.

>4GB of DDR 333MHz
That's real fuckin nice for what it is.

why does this stupid program detects my r5 2600 as 14nm r5 1600

can't they update their shit

>green

absolutely degenerate, black is the true master race.

Speccy hasn't been properly updated in years. It still can't even detect DDR4 properly, and that launched in 2014.

They won't even recognize DDR4 as a thing when X99 was damn like 4 years ago.

That's my old optiplex I hobbled together at the end of high school, I use a blacked UD3 board now.

Fuck the rig I wan't that storage.

>1080ti
>60hz

why do americans always buy overpriced GPUs and don't even match proper monitors

Honestly thinking about replacing all but the SSDs with 8TB because I am running out of space.

>implying I'm american
I can't be fucked to buy a 144hz monitor when they all have panels that suck more dick than you, or cost more than my entire setup.

>apple fags are pedophiles
Like pottery

well I agree those cost a lot

I love to suck dicks desu, maybe you want me to suck yours.

I'm likely gonna stick with magnetic storage too because it's so huge and short stroke an 8TB drive to a large 1800Gb volume that is fast.

are you new or what

No, are you?

then stop providing information that's not new

I just don't see the point in spending easily a few thousand on SSD storage that will very likely die long before my Harddrives will. Especially since access times for me aren't critical enough to warant spending a few thousand on 4x4TB vs a few hundred on 4x8TB desu.

Well if you look cute...
But seriously fuck those prices.

>stop calling me out for being a pedo
Ight

I'm the same way, the way I use my scratch disks on sony Vegas, it's gonna kill an SSD over time, hard drives are huge, cheap, and fast.

I actualy once used a throwaway SSD from work for my normal workloads to see how it fared. I didn't notice the extra speed and even while I know a brand SSD would have had better Read/Write cycles the thing just died in 4 or 5 months.

I've got a Sandisk SSD in my laptop, the only benefit I see is cold booting fast, and fast transfers even with a lot of stuff on it, but an optimized hard drive will transfer fast as fuck too and hold alot more for less money.

imo an SSD as boot drive is a must in current year but for storage SSDs just aren't viable yet.

hello i'm here

do you guys even use half of those 32gb of RAM

I have 9 tabs of some heavy ass html5 bullshit open and it's not even touching it, it's e-peen.

Attached: memory.png (431x475, 40K)

yes, for virtual machines

Attached: Capture.png (771x514, 82K)

if you consider that this is my 4 year old work notebook it's not bad at all. On the other hand it's pretty pathetic that modern hardware hasn't really evolved that much since then.

>do I use half
Yes, daily

>do I need 32GB of RAM right now
lmao no

>can I use 32GB of RAM with stuff I do
yeah

ty you all

i have kinda poor specs but i like my temrinal so i'll post in this thread anyway
