Proper web anonymity

How do I achieve it?

Figure it will be a good exercise to try.

What you don't do is tell somebody you use Jow Forums and then piss them off.

Don't use the internet.

Problem solved.

Total anonymity?

1. Get Tor

2. Use your neighbor's wifi

3. Switch towns every week.

4 Throw away your computer after a month and get a new one.

Lol, okay pretty funny replies. What about getting something shipped?

Live with roommate, don't want them seeing what kinky stuff I order

Run Windows 3.1

Use nothing but TAILS, disable Javascript, use a good VPN that supports OpenVPN protocol and is under the jurisdiction of a country with decent privacy laws, disable Javascript, keep use of non-bundled software to a minimum and make sure they don't leak data before using them, disable Javascript, never use the same login and password for more than one single thing, disable Javascript, use only public wifi which doesn't require any registration, disable Javascript, never share a single personal detail ever while online.

Cheers mate
Finally a solid answer

Get it shipped to an Amazon Locker. Other companies offer lockers, too. A lot of mail offices offer that service or you could get your rainbow-colored thigh high socks delivered to your doorstep. Maybe then your roomate will fuck you and you won't be no virgin no more.

The fuck is an Amazon locker

It's some capitalist amerifag money grabbing scheme that doesn't anonymize you at all

>Homo fag detected

>tfw discovered porn before I started caring about privacy and now the NSA knows all about my cuck/bbc/sissy fetish

But seriously, what are the odds some government agency has actually profiled everyone's internet history?

It does anonymise you from the perspective of your flatmate. Use a throwaway account and pay with a gift card (that you bought for cash) if you're truly paranoid.

pretty fucking high

almost every major US corporation is a front for the intelligence community

Amazon Alexa was an outright contract with the CIA and they plan on putting them in new Fords, eventually this will be tied to your biometric data as well (think CLEAR airport iris scanners, Samsung iris scanners on their new phones, Apple FaceID)

100% they did but you drown in a sea of information about other people

What about security cameras seeing you buy the gift card?

>In the early 1920s, Ford sponsored a weekly newspaper, The Dearborn Independent, that published strongly antisemitic views. During this period, Ford emerged as "a respected spokesman for right-wing extremism and religious prejudice", reaching around 700,000 readers through his newspaper. Ford wrote on May 22, 1920: "If fans wish to know the trouble with American baseball they have it in three words—too much Jew."

>In Germany, Ford's antisemitic articles from The Dearborn Independent were issued in four volumes, cumulatively titled 'The International Jew, the World's Foremost Problem', published by Theodor Fritsch, founder of several antisemitic parties and a member of the Reichstag. In a letter written in 1924, Heinrich Himmler described Ford as "one of our most valuable, important, and witty fighters". Ford is the only American mentioned favorably in Mein Kampf; Adolf Hitler wrote, "only a single great man, Ford, who, to the Jews' fury, still maintains full independence... from the controlling masters of the producers in a nation of one hundred and twenty millions." Speaking in 1931 to a Detroit News reporter, Hitler said he regarded Ford as his "inspiration", explaining his reason for keeping Ford's life-size portrait next to his desk. Max Wallace has stated "History records that ... Adolf Hitler was an ardent Anti-Semite before he ever read Ford's The International Jew." Under Ford, the newspaper also reprinted the antisemitic fabricated text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

He tried, brehs. He tried.

Oh and never pay for anything online

Oh and use a good DNS server i guess

They can still track you by your browsing habits through an AI network.

Stop using Jow Forums is one step closer to being anonymous on the web. In fact if you stop using the internet you will have complete anonymity online.

There's always gonna be a trail of evidence, no matter how convoluted. The point is to make it implausible for a mass surveillance system to pick you up. If you used that gift card to buy a pressure cooker and bomb a marathon, then yeah, the FBI would probably be able to backtrace the purchase. But algorithms can't make those kinds of leaps - at least, not yet. Whereas if you order a dildo with your debit card, yeah, that's getting logged.

Wisdom.

I'd like to expand a bit on this. I'd agree that there will always be a trail of evidence, no matter how convoluted, when there's physical merchandise involved. By definition, it will have to change hands at least once, meaning there will always be at least one connecting point between you and whatever you don't want to be associated with.

However, purely online activities can be untraceable, at least in theory. The problem is always some small chunk of data that you weren't aware you were leaking and could easily plug if you knew it was there. This is where making your pathway as convoluted as possible (as in ) helps a lot, so whichever data you may be giving off hopefully gets lost in the shuffle.

and pay with crypto

For that unironically just use incognito mode and a PO box/have it shipped to your work.

Use a VPN if you don't trust your ISP.

based racist

do tor inside a vm that is using one companies vpn for free, then have that in another vm which is giving internet to that vm through a vpn, keep putting vms inside eachother with different vpns at each one supplying and effectively chaining vpns for more security. make sure the vpns are different companies if you can. then make sure you encrypt all vms and store on a drive you can dispose of easily/dont care about. then just dont fuck it up with bad opsec. i chain 10 vpns and tor with its proxy this way.
