Brown.

I have brown and they still chatter (double press) sometime
Fuck me and this $250 RGB gaming keyboard

Gateron linears > cherry linears.

lmao cherries

thought it was well known the chinese alternative Gateron are better.

fyi blue gateron's

gateron clear

Blue with a fuckton of o-rings

There is literally no objective reason to use one type of switch over another. It's all subjective preference.

Gateron Blue

I have 2 boards with cherry blues
I'd like to try kalih blue/ navy box or gaterons

blue because it looks like he's wearing a little suit and tie :)

Neither

I never even realized how scratchy my MX Red keyboard was until I bought chink switches

Blue if you want clicky feedback
Red if you want no feedback at all

beamspring with solenoid

Blue.... every click is followed by a tiny orgasm while I'm tiping

Neither, Cherry is crap nowadays, it's not 2008 anymore, you have better options.

Kailh BOX Royals instead.

Green >= Blue >power gap >brown>pile of shit > r*d

I remember what my father said. He said, "Son, life is simple. It's either cherry red ... or midnight blue."

I use reds, blues are too noisy for me, and I wanted browns but the keyboard with reds was a better price.

I really want to try something that's like a brown switch with shorter travel. When I type, I have gotten used to not completely pressing down the switches all the way, but I feel like an even shorter travel distance could allow me to type faster.

Human eye can't see more than 30fps
Human fingers can't feel the difference between red and blue switches

BOX Navy for clicky
Green ALPS for linear

red for gaming. for typing there are better options than blue.

Cherry MX Silent

Patrician taste

Gateron browns
Everything else is pleb gaymer bullshit

Romer Gs :^)

mx silvers, dude
unless there's an alternative brand switch that has the same actuation distance as silvers, they're p much the best for typing fast w/o much finger strain

wow gee i sure love arthritis coming early too user

anything more expensive than a 40 dollar microsoft keyboard is pointless pretentious crap

/thread

i sure love not being able to press more than 1 key at a time real epic milly rock style experience dude

source: your ass

if i generally prefer the really small amount of travel and force required that is present on laptop keyboard because of chronic pain on my arm making exerting force with my fingers harder, what is the best keyboard/switch to go for

>Cherry
