Free speech goes as far as the user's and admin's local legislations; being an asshole without any more significant political culture than an entertainment multiverse isn't "wrongthink" and isn't magically protected by ethics or some local amendment.

Being an asshole is acceptable as long as you're being an asshole representing their interests.

There are various opposing opinions within the Mastodon community and that's what everybody does, no matter their position about free speech.
