Anything that small is a flaptop.. Aka tablet with a keyboard... Ill keep my big boy computer thx

The one I like weighs 3.8lbs, I'm not buying a different laptop over 4/5 of a pound.

Job relocation.
Will be doing 12-16 hour shifts.
Very limited internet.

Recommend me a laptop with a 1080 in it.

Also, how does linux handle raid0 nvme?

I was eyeing a refurbed Acer Predator 17 X GX-792-77BL for $2400 USD. Sold out though.

I'd put LTSB on it, as well as GNU/linux. Want to play with PCIe passthrough for the NVMe and GPU. I'm gonna have time on my hands. When not being a fucking autist with it, I'll kill time playing vidya in 4K G-sync glory.

Win10 LGBT is a meme, just get 7

I don't have the laptop yet, how do I know if Win7 will work on it?
I was thinking ESXi and just loading whatever VM I wanted. The 17X model can take 64GB of ram, so I could run a couple machines simultaneously and have room for a ram disk. I'd be using an instance of GNU/Linux at all times regardless because all of my disks are LUKS/EXT4

3 lbs = 1.36078 kg

fucking hilarious i love you

Why are you such basedboys? You probably never work out and now you can't even carry a laptop, which was the only thing in your life even remotely resembling sport. roflmao

sheiiitt OP is such a manlet, my T530 is easily over 3kg

This. Got myself a tablet Tab A 9.7" with s-pen. Anywhere I need something stronger than a tablet has a PC. Laptops are slowly dying and turning into big tablets with keyboards.

3.6lbs... but I also have a 6cell auxiliary battery, giving me 72whr total for about 14 hours under light load

don't listen to him, there is no reason to not use LTSB.I had win7 on my dekstop and after installing LTSB my old installation felt very bloated with thousands of installed updates.

Also newer hardware works better with newer windows and old hardware works better with older windows.
