No other audio player is more efficient than Audacious.

Prove me wrong.

Clementine for features
Audacious for simplicity

>efficient
what

>mediamonkey
Would be quite decent if it weren't a sluggish mess.

musicbee is the best, go ahead and slap yourself in the face if you think otherwise

>proprietary music client
Kys

MOC Player

>proprietary music players

It's cute.

foobar

Wrong

>tfw foobar with all of its plugins will never make it to Linux
>tfw GNUbros miss out on legitimately fantastic software cause it's neither open source nor is the developer willing to port to Linux
>it's provably not botnet, but freetards hate it anyway
>there are underage niggers that can't get past the initial setup, making it the ultimate pleb filter of audio player discussion
>their only retort and defense for their walnut brains is shouting "autism"

Just get gmusicplayer user, if you configure JACK properly it can stream bitperfect audio just like foobar. That's the deal breaker of any music player, nothing else really matters.

>That's the deal breaker of any music player
But can it play the following:
>DVD-A ISO
>BD ISO
>SACD ISO
>Raw DSD files
>other asinine audiofool formats that I may find

ncmpcpp

*+ncmpcpp

anyone with experience with mopidy? thinking of switching over to it for easier access to cloudrap and wondering if it's any good

>he thinks freetards has difficulties configuring foobar
I've gone from winamp, to foobar, to musicbee, to mpd+ncmpcpp+beets.

ncmpcpp gives you everything you need to parse your music library. beets lets you import new music and tagging them without any effort, and it's cross-platform. what else do you want from a music player?

forgot to say ncmpcpp supports FREEDOM

>>he thinks freetards has difficulties configuring foobar
Those were my complaints against various people who hate on Foobar. I never said anything about freetards not being able to configure Foobar, of all software.
Besides, if you'd use your head, you'd know that there's a microscopic overlap between freetards and underage nigfers that lack the patience and attention span to go through the Foobar first time setup.

Because it's not Amarok

Last time Amarok was good was when KDE 3 was a thing

I still use it because nothing else is as comfy as Amarok.
Waiting for the qt5 port B-)
