The router likely just checks user agents against a pre-built list. If you're not using the big three browsers it thinks you're another HTTP client like wget or curl. Since the router needs Javascript or other browser features to serve the "Accept license agreement" button (don't ask why they think they need that), they show this message instead.

as someone who studied graphic design (got scholarship so taxpayers paid for it lol) and was required to churn out a load of still life and such paintings every semester, i can assure it's easy to cover EVERYTHING around in paint if you're an inherently sloppy neet and for hours only concentrate on the quality/execution of work itself and not anything else (such as on regular washing the damn brushes, cleaning hands and everything else around with turpentine and using clean rags for that purpose).

He is right though. If you used Vista on a proper hardware, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Problem was, most folks just skipped Vista, upgraded their PC, kept installing XP and then installed 7. Of course, 7 was running fine because they upgraded their HW since they tried Vista.
