Tfw microsoft will never make a modern version of the best mouse ever made
Microsoft stop using reverse psychology to shill your products here...
I know you remade this mouse, just post it already.
Jeez.
I like this mouse, but I fucking hate the LED.
>the best mouse ever made
Far from it, OP.
It *was* a decent mouse though.
and it's fucking shit
Seriously, those mice were champs.
rude
unsolder it
>rude
>saying it was a decent mouse once is rude
This isn't your safe zone where people can't say truths without your approval.
Thought I found one in a charity shop a few weeks back.
It had a ball though
Have seen MS mouse without scrollers still in working conditions today, though replaced by wireless ones.
It was one of the best mice available, a bit pricey though.

I still use this exact mouse.
thats an intellimouse 3 not the best mouse ever made
>using a mouse
Brainlet.
My basic optical mouse is probably 20 years old by now. 20 years with this thing and it is still in use.
that mouse is terrible my dad uses it WMO is way better.
You where saying?
Terrible how? It just werks and I'm pretty sure I only spent $20 on it.
Same, ive been using one of these for over a decade and its still going strong. It might not be the best mouse in the world, but ive used it for so long that everything else feels wrong.
it's not this shell, it's a redo of intellimouse 3, the weird wonky ugly one
why don't we just make 3d printed mouse shells that are perfect fits for our hands?
you could have it grip onto an existing mouse, or we can choose a reliable mouse to break open and use the components of
btw
these are the best microsoft mice

no programmable buttons
That's crap you don't need. Left button, right button, and a scroll wheel are the only buttons you need for a mouse.
But they literally did, how did you miss it?
yeah... why would you wanna go back/forward in your webbrowser with a single click when you can drag your mouse all the way to a button halfway across the screen
now you're thinking!!
and they're useful for throwing grenades and stuff in games
>not using keybindings for going back/forth in a browser
that wasn't the wmo
less convenient
Keyboard way more convenient for various button combinations than a mouse.
>Microsoft - Classic Intellimouse

ignore ket on spoiler
I like it too, OP. wish I'd bought more for when mine died.
I wish companies would keep making good things that just work instead of phasing them out. pic related.
all companies should be forced to share blueprints/schematics/designs when they discontinue a product
this goes for hardware manufacturers, furniture makers and tshirt designs as well
That's not the best mouse ever.
This is.
this
also I could never feel comfy with gaming mice after this, they always felt too slippery
Literally any gamer mouse is better
>backspace
So tired of this fucking meme. There's nothing special about this mouse, literally nothing. Grow the fuck up nostalgiafags.
Corsair m65 is the best I've tried so far just need to desolder all the GAYMER!!111 led lights and it's solid.
It'd be perfect if it had a bit of texture on the top but meh good enough
You know those pos old ibm mechanical keyboards all the hipsters like?
Cherry switches are better. Fucking boomers. "Muh old shit is better than new shit hurr durr"
based
Mouse gestures are more convenient and more intuitive.
Swipe left for back, for example.
cut your finger and go jump in a river of piranhas
the IMO bends and plastic isn't stiff and hard like a 360 controller like the WMO. sure the extra buttons on IMO are nice but the flexable frame make it worthless imo.
WMO and IE3.0 are only viable ones imo and IE3.0 is arguablly shit beacuse SS ikari is same shape and better mouse for MMO/MOba/RTS and thats all the IE3.0 is good for any way.

>Your subjective opinion is wrong.
The reason companies do redesigns is because the chings make inferior unbranded clones the second something get's popular, some reason Jow Forums doesn't understand this.
I like this mouse because of the following reasons:
no software to set dpi/angle snap/RGB off
teflon pads don't cover screws
they give you the part number for the switches in product info
its made of PBT and hasn't gotten shiny on the LMB yet unlike my old G500
it came with a stupidly big but thin mousepad
if you don't mind having to use DPI in increments of 400/800/1600 ect rather than exactly 1257 DPI its pretty gud

>~35 euros
That's 10% of my monthly paycheck...
whats even is this thing, it looks like trash
it's not nostalgia, theres one gaming mouse on the market that weighs the same.
Is your monthly paycheck autism bucks?
