Front End, Back End, Software Developement, Android Developement

Why are forcing this shit still? Are you the dev behind it?

scala is better

Yes

Where do you find kotlin backend programmers?

it is the new pajeet

Wait a minute, i thought scalla was the hip new JVM language

now that's a boomer post if ive ever seen one

Don't know about this master stuff, but it's become breety good, see thoughtworks.com/radar/languages-and-frameworks

Scala is good when paired with Spark for Big Data and other such large-volume analytics.

>no hkts in the language
it's not even close

anything that runs on JVM or can be programmed in Java

Check out Roachclip. It’s in the same vein but more visionary in a way.

C.

Actually, this is totally made up. I was just trying to fit in.

>no ternary operator

>another jvm language
oh boy... can't wait for Java 11/12 to continue to add in the features of all these offshoot languages and make them irrelevant for the majority of people

scalla is not new at all

you can do this with a single line if else or write an extension function

Actually you can compile kotlin to native binaries in various platforms and even transpile to Javascript!

>can be compiled to a native binary
>can be compiled to JVM bytecode
>can be transpiled to javascript
Sounds pretty good.
