/dark mode/

macOS Mojave went full Vista™ on the dark mode holy shit. every menu and background has a different shade of black, some of which take a slight shade of color from the desktop background. it's all annoying as hell

i dont see anything wrong with it?

looks like some numix inspired abomination pulled from the bowels of gnomelook.

Because this deserves a thread.

Neck yourself you waste of space

>different UI elements like table headers or sidebars have different shades
No shit OP. Everything looking uniformly black would have looked so much better!

if version >= 10.14 && darkMode == true {
background = .darkGray
} else {
background = .lightGray
}

not that hard, Apple

It’s in beta, retard.

Can anyone show me some decent darkish desktop that would be better than this

>I guess I'll put this red opaque background because I'm sure that looks just great and what looks bad about the system is just the rest of it

Just disable transparency, faggot. I don't even use macOS and I know that you can do that shit (and definitely use a proper wallpaper)

Nice tripduptrips, but
>using dark themes
>ever
The “easier on the eyes” thing is a placebo
