Watching TV/YouTube doesn't count as "doing something", either. Exercising your body is proven to be good for your mental health, so that's one thing to do. Another is to take up a non-computer hobby that exercises your brain in a different way from writing code. If you are a weeb, a natural choice for you is drawing. If you don't want to draw, learn an instrument, build a model railroad (it's a hacker tradition, after all), etc.

I spent two years in programming and another three in IT project management. Never ever more. Now I'm working in completely different field, with about 50% less money, but man, I'm content.

Point is, that money are never worth it. Either do what you love or something which allows you enough personal time and space and not annoys/stress you.
