I built a script for a mechanical dildo to fuck my ass every time I browse a new thread on Jow Forums. I do this so I can finally leave this place. But now its turning me gay.

Jow Forums is literally making me gay

XD

I am working on a tool to browse e621 and another one to view my daughters grades in her schools system

h-hot

I did a mini project in work that let me search one of our databases through the command line rather than boot up a cumbersome sql parser program every time. It was so annoying, I can't remember what it was called but apparently the GUI was Java and it was quite slow to open up and it also required a manual verification to the database. So I've saved time and possibly opened a backdoor, but that's not my problem

Program that datamines stuff from R* servers and google docs.

pics or didn't happen

blue board bucko

a sandbox for /home

gondola related: I made a stupid script that sets the arch-gondola on top of my current wallpaper.

post it on leddit then

Mostly my dozens of userscripts to disable harmful javascript (mostly on porn sites).

I wrote a bash script that sets/adjusts ffmpeg settings to create webms within a certain file size limit.

I once build an async script that crawls all the lolis on the internet. Complete with proxy broker and pgsql database.

>But now its turning me gay.
sorry to break it to you, but you were gay from the beginning, it just helped you realize this.

You're a fucking God.

What if it has a "dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/sda" hidden inside it

Most recent thang is a counter for my i3 bar that ups everytime I open Vim. Ive opened Vim 83 times today.

So it encodes my webms and offers a small chance of spawning Rachel Riley nudes on my hard drive? Ebin.

Theoretically, what would happen if you were /dev/randoming your disks when the police came, and it made child porn and they found it?

A C#/WPF app that locates user profiles on VMs (including bad/extra profiles) faster than that clunky appcenter that came with the XenApp license. Left-click on an entry opens MSRA; right-click opens RDP to that VM.

The hardest part was making it tabbed so I could help multiple users.

You'd have an assault rifle materialise in your hands from the virtual particles being created by quantum effects for just long enough to defend yourself.
Equal probability of both scenarios.

No ammo?

all my own scripts are too ugly to share, once they do what I want I never open them again unless it doesn't work

More recently a python script that records live chaturbate streams with ffmpeg

How the fuck are you going to let a website dictate your fucking sexuality you goddamn idiot

...

Please let me hire you

i wrote a script where you enter an ethnic name and it returns race specific slurs. not even kidding, first thing i ever made

Doesn't work in Bourne shell.

if your dildo browser runs proprietary javascript will it give you real aids?

Yes, because it includes a lot of bashism

I wrote a crypto currency trading bot. Up about 70x so far.

Ebook downloader that searches gutenberg.

Jow Forums/reddit downloaders/archivers.

Qt/Python program for recording (workout) runs.

>Up about 70x so far.
That due to your smart algorhitms or mostly luck/starting early enough that most cryptos have increased in value since then?

I made several scripts for several games that would download resource files or patches for modding/hacking purposes.
Scripts for scraping posts from twitter.
Scripts for all sorts.

The 70x was between January 6th and now so entirely through the bear market so far. 6 months of steady gains in one of the worst crypto markets we've seen yet. Maybe luck but I doubt it. Going for a million by the end of the year.

Hey, good luck then. I still can't shake the feeling that you just happen to be one trader/programmer out of many who are doing the same thing that just happened to get lucky.

It feels like there would be a pretty big bias among the people talking about their trading bots that actually (maybe due to luck) work versus the ones who quietly stopped theirs after having lost some money. See what I'm getting at?

When I was wasting money on shorting BTC I wrote a JS that read the price of BTC out loud every few minutes so didn't have to be at the computer 24/7.

I follow you, fren. Survivorship bias is real. I've talked some some other bot traders though and here is what I think sets me apart.. Foremost, after discovering this, I realigned all my priorities with it so now I work on it 15 hours a day 7 days a week. The constant attention to watching it, tweaking it, stepping in when necessary has helped a lot. Also, my algorithm is very very conservative and only takes the best trades. The only reason I get enough trades to keep gaining is I'm on over 20 different exchanges and I watch thousands of coins constantly for the pattern. Most traders are on 1 or 2 exchanges so they are hungrier and take lower quality stuff. Another thing is I'm very sensitive to the volume of a coin and never go in more than a certain fraction of whatever the coin has done in 24 hours. This keeps me from stepping into a dump that never comes back up. Another thing is I don't rely on classic TA though I do take into account something kind of like bollinger bands. Not really BB though since I made my own EMA formula that I think suits crypto better and I don't calculate it from the close, and I don't think 2 sd is good either, particularly from the middle. And on and on. What I'm saying is it's a mix of smarts dogged dedication. That last part is probably what sets the profitable guys from the guys who merely serve to add liquidity to the market.

Are those all...

This isn't a fucking charity.

The one I wrote for myself that I got the most use out of was an auto-fire script I wrote back in 2007 and have been using in different games ever since. It's an autohotkey script that you can toggle with F6 along with a little robot voice to tell you when it's on or off. It's mostly useful in any game with a pistol to turn it into a machinegun.

Indeed they are. One for every coin I’m working and one for each exchange
>mobile hence new id

I wrote a PowerShell command line GUI script for youtube-dl and one for making backup archives with 7-Zip.

Nothing much, but they work good and the code is OK enough that I wasn't embarrassed put it up on Github.

Shit, thought I was on Jow Forums. Forgot g doesn’t have id’s

XD

>Survivorship bias is real.
At least you are being realistic. Still crypto trading has some chance of success, at least the markets are way less efficient than stocks, bonds, forex etc.

bump

How do PowerShell GUIs work?

>what can I do with RPi3
>horny for juicy fat booty
>write Jow Forums scraper that lurks /s/ and /gif/ every hour for new pawg phat ass shit
>perfectly regexed keywords to be sure I'm not missing shit out
>saves media with original filename in a folder for each thread
>runs 24/7
>send out email notification everytime a new thread is done
>"swiggeddy swiggedy woody, I'm coming for that booty"

This man understands how technology is meant to be used.

Window with four buttons and pictures I drew myself. Bound to power button via acpid, used for well you know, shutdown and suspend and shit.
Python, GTK.

>I remember good time when people actually post good scripts here

Attached: 1530527233722.jpg (540x540, 112K)

I wrote a shell script that takes animu series names + release group and automatically adds it to rutorrent's RSS feeds.
It actually used to take me a bunch of time to go through loading up series, but this saved me a bunch of time.

I also have other scripts that do things like downloading the episodes off of my home server and sorting them.

I wrote a bash script that takes new albums I have downloaded, reads their metadata, checks if Album and Artist fields are consistent across the files, and if so copies the album to a directory named $ARTIST.$YEAR.$ALBUM.

XD

a package engine, sort of like zip but without the compression

sauce instagram.com/amouredelavie/

A script that changes my usb mouse sensitivity and middle button functionality, and another one that boosts my laptop speaker volume to 200%. Both are because ubtuntu gnomes settings gui has shitty ranges

This which I have on my phone for some reason, it just says what's in the box.
Option Explicit
Dim spv, text
Set spv = CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice")
spv.rate = -3 ' speach rate -10 to 10
text = "I dont know what to say."
Do
text = InputBox("Enter text to have it spoken or press cancel to exit.", "SpVoice", text)
If text "" Then spv.Speak text
Loop Until text = ""

And a script to automate my notes, and a dot net program to mirror images, for funny faces.

I wrote bingo generator with entries shuffling.
It took me less than 15 minutes although.

I also made script to scrap local websites looking for flat offers.

mein gott

Got annoyed at my wife because she claims she can't access or print all the digital phones she takes. So I wrote a program called Fuck Off that uses fcgi and some ajax stuff that will show create a catalog of photos and also allow her to enter comments and order them printed.
