>build PC >too cheap to buy Windows >find old 10+ year old prebuilt family PC >it has a sticker on it with Windows Vista product key >OEM key, of course >message Microdick customer support >lie and say I upgraded the machine and Windows no longer working >go back and forth for 3 hours >they just give me a full version of Windows 10
3 hours of my time is worth more than a windows 10 key
Jack Bell
No it isn't, you big fat NEET liar.
Cooper Walker
3 hours of wasted time/opportunity cost just to install spyware.
Christian Wilson
>install Windows 10 >install kmspico >press the red button There, saved you 3 hours.
Ryder Williams

Asher Watson
Haha. Get fucked, kid. I'm a Microsoft employee. Infact I am ''the'' Microsoft Sam. The CIA is en route to your house. I hope that "free" Windows install was worth it. Faggot.
Logan Cooper
I stole 2k worth of those expensive pigment markers from my highschool Bought a new thinkpad t420 from the money I earned
Degeneracy at it's finest... after leaving Jow Forums for 4 years, I come back and see these threads filled with these people. I heard for a couple of years this would happen but to actually witness the decay. wow
Mason Rivera
You can get Win 10 for 5$. You're making less than 2$ an hour?
Owen Sanchez
>windows 10 key
Don't you get them for "free" practically anywhere? To the point that I doubt MS even particularly cares about pirates. They want to increase their Win10 install base, and that's not happening by regular means. I switched from Win7 to Linux a few years ago and am not coming back. Even managed to convince a few relatives and they have been happy so far.
Jeremiah Peterson
They don't care. Bill gates said it two decades ago. Even pirates join the Microsoft eco system so it's all good. >"Although about 3 million computers get sold every year in China, people don't pay for the software. Someday they will, though," Gates told an audience at the University of Washington. "And as long as they're going to steal it, we want them to steal ours. They'll get sort of addicted, and then we'll somehow figure out how to collect sometime in the next decade."
Jack Thomas
Then people got hooked on smartphones and ditched the PC.
Asher Hughes
>then we'll somehow figure out how to collect sometime in the next decade."
>install any linux distro for free >program for your job >make money >??? >profit
Elijah Stewart
>install any linux distro for free >favorite IDE isn't supported >switch back to OS Sex >??? >2% marketshare
Christian Lee
"earned"?
Colton Diaz
Even fucking mobile phones don't do that. What made Microsoft think it was okay on desktop?
I do understand why a regular person would think he doesn't need a desktop, and he isn't even too wrong about that, but I don't want PC (part) prices to increase, and it would lower computer capabilities in the general population even further. That's bad.
