First computer was a VIC-20. It was already woefully obsolete at the time, my dad already had a 486 with Windows 3.1, but he thought giving me his old VIC to play around with was a good idea. My first actual PC was a hand-me-down 386 that my mom's company was getting rid of.

First phone was some generic candybar dumbphone, in '01 or '02. I was one of the last kids in my high school class to get a phone, parents still thought cell phones were "only for doctors, executives, and drug dealers." I can't even remember the brand, but it wasn't one of the big ones like Nokia or Sony Ericsson, rather one of those forgettable off-brand things like Alcatel or something.
