This literally happened to me except I was the boss. It was honestly impressive how this dude managed to create a full 3 page resume and seemed to have memorized fake backstory for each one and all the most common programming tests.

Why didn't you intern?

Should have used incognito mode

On a serious note though, why does nobody want to train anybody while having the gall to demand the most experienced workers?

Simple - good programmers have the enthusiasm to teach themselves. Bad programmers stay bad programmers.

Did your uni not assign programming projects alongside the tests and quizes on theory? Why would any school do this to a cs major?

your judgment is fallacious and wrong...

not an argument

Nice data and evidence, Stefan.

Nice data and evidence, Stefan.

well you didn't provide one either so I played by your rules.

Nice trips.

Because it was an opinion, retard. Since when do all posts on Jow Forums need to be deeply argumentative?

Your summer is showing

>assigned with simple task on my first day
What did they want you to do?

calm down tuff guy

Why would you do that. If anything even if you do learn in the future they won't want to hire you again

What were you asked to do and what theoretical CS stuff did you memorize?

Source needed

I had some programming projects in the first couple years but they were simple shit, last two years didn't really have any actual programming projects, just theoretical stuff

I like programming enough that I'd do it as a job but I'm not gonna waste my free time doing it

>learning
>waste

you're not cut out to be a programmer man, you need some passion to do it too. or you could just hit a bootcamp on webdev and start over.

yeah that's what I spent $40000 and 4 years of my life to do, I learned all the CS shit. What more do they want from me?

nah I just have actually have a life

>have a life
>posts on Jow Forums

Pick 1

Wait, what language?
And was it some kind of GUI-turbografx with real-time animation where numbers bounce around with FizzBuzz, or actual console fizzbuzz?

Sounds like it would have been easier to just learn the stuff desu

user what was that simple task?

Things that has never happened.

Yikes, faggot. Enjoy wasting time being a useless NEET.

>be American
>pay the Jews to teach you nothing
>get fired after 1 day
>claim you know everything and refuse to learn

This is why pajeets are taking all the fucking programming jobs.
