I have changed my tRC to 56 instead of 75 and that seems to have improved stability but i still have hardware failure after 7'00" in Aida instead of 3'30"
Do I need any more case fans and how would you position them? CPU came with Wraith Prism as a stock cooler. Currently have 2x 140mm SilentWings 3, about to build the PC. Not planning to overclock, would like a computer that's as cool as it can be.
my computer is locking up randomly, especially frustrating when trying to jerk one out and it bluescreens. watching porn in 720p is not computationally intensive
should i send my memory back? am i a retard and doing it wrong?
Cooper Russell
I got another computer and monitor recently. Swapped around some drives and put everything back together again. Now my monitors say "no input" and "no cable connected". I have everything unplugged from the wall. What should I do now?
Christian Parker
how hard are you picking it? do you often bleed?
either way i doubt it in normal circumstances
Tyler Jackson
does it start up and post? do you have a video card? is the video onboard?
Benjamin Sanchez
It posts. I have a seperate graphics card in one of them but I'm plugged directly into the motherboard
Isaac Perez
whats your parts? AMD/Intel?
and its likely you dont have onboard video, plug it into your gfx card instead
Jeremiah Murphy
why was GHCi's module visibility behaviour changed? if you loaded a file which had imports in it, those were accesible in the interpreter as well. How do I enable that behaviour on GHCi 8.4?

Try to bump your dram voltage to 1.45v
Gabriel Morris
Intel. The processor definitely has graphics onboard though
Jason King
If you have graphic card, you should use it until you directly specified in bios to use igp.
Wyatt Jackson
That sounds both dangerously high and warranty invalidating
William Sanders
Ok. I'll keep that in mind but that didn't help the other PC with onboard graphics. I looked at a YouTube video and they recommended unplugging everything, holding the power button down for a minute and plugging back in. Other people are saying to clear the CMOS on both. I just want the damn monitors to work.
Lucas Baker
Why? It's fine for overclocked memory. Safe limit for ddr4 is 1.55v.
Wyatt Nelson
Are you using same cables as monitors set to? Like you are connecting with hdmi and monitor actually set to hdmi and not dvi?
Grayson Miller
What flavor of ubuntu is best besides xfce (no screen tearing).
Alright I'll Inch my way up. But doesn't hardware have fuses that detect overclocking that they can inspect if you try to RMA? I understand giving more voltage helps a higher clock but I'm not even overclocking these, they're rated for 3200MHz 16-18-18-38 at 1.35v
Was hoping I just needed to mess with tertiary timings but outside tRC idk what these other values do or how they're derived
Nicholas Stewart
One of them runs through the whole series on its own trying to find it. DVI, 2 HDMI, 2 display port. Nothing. This isn't that unusual though, as this monitor is a pain in the ass to begin with and definitely not the first time.
Connor Roberts
Is buying a single fan graphics card worth the 30- 60 dollars i'd be saving?
Caleb Roberts
No. They are loud, hot and clocked lower
Benjamin Price
Depends on what you want to make. The right tool for the right job and all that jazz.
Yes, you will generate a static charge by vacuuming and can kill tiny capacitors and shit if you're not carefull. It's better to use compressed air cans or a compressor to blow out the dust.
Colton Ward
I should be okay as long as the nozzle doesnt touch any capacitors right?
Parker Carter
What's the best dark theme for Windows 7? I have tried a lot and all of them have problems in one way or another, is there one that is correctly implemented? or has almost non existent bugs?
Nathan Flores
Where should I look to source a replacement display for an iPhone 7, besides AliExpress, DealExtreme and EBay?
Alexander Edwards
Yes, use compressed air instead.
Angel Allen
Bump
John King
I think I have this. My pinky feels some dull annoyance on the outside. Anyone with some experience? What do?
Well... if the charge gets large enough it will be able to bridge an air gap, so I seriously can't recommend vacuuming your mobo, if you don't have access to compressed air / an air compressor consider using paper towels (optionaly some cleaning alcohol)
Jace Peterson
What can overclocked intel 4600 HD graphics (at 1500mhz) even run proper these days? I won't be able to get a GPU (even cheap) for a good while.
Cameron White
you've overclocked your intel graphics unit ??????
Does anyone know a cheap/powersefficient mini-pc to use as a homeserver?
Carter Wright
Yep, it can be done. So far I got from 30 to 55 FPS on a simulator that I frequently play under the same settings, so I guess it does work. Little over 60C. I know it's a bit pathetic but I refuse to give up that one game at least.
Owen King
Hey on Android Nougat how do I hide albums from display in the "all images roll". Like I want the album itself to be in the gallery, but when I open an app like Instagram I don't want those folders from showing up in the image roll.
I have old folders I'm migrating over to new phone and there's now shit tonnes of stuff in front of my actual new stuff.
Parker Butler
Turned off laptop fell 5 inches onto carpet. I am very paranoid about these things. Tell me the probability of any internal damage.

not exactly Jow Forums related but I figured I may as well ask so i'm trying to get bluetooth to work in my car the car has an actual "bluetooth" button but when pressed it does nothing, i've tried playing around in the settings but there's nothing useful there, also disconnected the car battery which reset all the settings but didn't help with my issue. any suggestions?
Ryan Wood
Is it true that you can't just plug a HDD with Windows 10 on it into any PC and it'll work?
Charles Ward
windows 8+ are pretty good at handling hardware changes, there's a decent chance it will work
Jace Lewis
make a fake facebook account?...

how is that tool that shows you the first occurrence of a keyword in google searches between year x and y? I want to know the oldest search result containing a keyword. somebody screenshoted it once but I forgot how the website is called
Blake Johnson
no, it needs to be plug and play for something like that, its a hardware issue
Doesn't even have a facebook log in. It is an obscure website with the same design since 1999.

Hi. I need some good lightweight software for Windows 2000. Nothing exotic. Just the best for the basic stuff.

It's time to get a new desk chair, and I'm thinking this time I'll spend the money and get something real nice, probably Herman Miller or Steelcase. Just looking for input, mostly considering the Aeron, Embody, Mirra 2, Leap, or Gesture, although I've also seen the Autonomous.ai's ErgoChair 2 recommended. Anyone have any thoughts? Or suggestions on finding those fabled $300 used Aerons I always hear about?
Is it okey to store pre-encrypted data on a cloud? Don't have access to normal local storage at the time.

Is 8 bit chips still used today?

Did we reach the of of computer rendering graphics? What improves games could have in future? (VR is meme, please do not include this tech in your answer)
Jacob Ward
Realistic dynamic shadows, lighting and physics.
Adrian Long
Good choice buying a "real" ergo brand and not a shit racer or some shit.
I would also suggest you add Humanscale to thje list, particularly the Freedom with headrest. Fully kitted out its still a fantastic chair and competes with HM and Steelcase models. If you want to get all of these cheap, look for used office furniture supply stores. Lots of companies will buy a whole fuckload of them and then either sell when they downsize or upgrade later. Leaps and Aerons are particularly noteworthy en masse. Oh an ErgoChair 2 is probably one of the best in the lower price range by the way, so if you only have a couple hundred to spend and oyu're not buying used high enders, its worthwhile
Oh and if you have the money, there is one company that makes a chair far, far superior to all you've mentioned - Lifeform. Particularly the Ultimate Executive models. I looked at everything you mentioned and I bought a Lifeform - and its a cut above, if you can stomach the price. Any Q's?
Dominic Miller
I want to save an archived Jow Forums thread but ''Save page as...'' option only saves the thumbnails, instead of the full images. Any fixes for that?
Christopher Jackson
Easy solution? Open all images in browser and save the page again.

Why people created so many Gaynu/linus distros ? Why they simply help to improve the old distros already made?
You want the front panel fans to be your intake and the top and rear fan(s) to be your exhaust. Though that' just how I have mine setup, I know there are others who actually make their top intake, rear fan are exhaust and front panels are exhaust though I don't think that's usually a good idea since you want more intake than exhaust so you can keep a positive air pressure inside the case.
Im choosing a distro and a DE I dont need most programs in most of DEs ive tried out, so I dont want to go through the hussle of manually uninstalling stuff like default games, libre office etc But im too much of a beginner to install a system with DE (im not able to manually install everything, i dont know, what i need) What do?
Joseph Ward
When I remux a BDAV (MT2S as a .mp4) into MKV with mkvtoolnix I notice the file size decreases heavily. Is this a normal and safe lossless conversion? I'm worried it might not be, but I don't notice anything wrong with the audio or video.
William Davis
Stretch your forearm, forearm exercises like forearm curls and using a hand gripper. I noticed that getting a lot of calcium and water helps with it. I'm at my comp like 11 hours a day and after taking calcium pills upping my water intake I notice I haven't gotten any sort of pain in my arms.
Robert Taylor
In chrome webms on gif and wsg are muted for me. The same webms work fine on firefox. I only have 4chanX installed. Any anons have any ideas?
Mason Collins
Do I need to turn off secure boot in order to boot from an USB with Ubuntu on it?
Juan Smith
>I'm at my comp like 11 hours a day and after taking calcium pills Why not just drink milk?
Easton White
do they work without 4chanx?
Hunter Rivera
Maybe it threw away any extra audio streams? Remuxing should take a few seconds, if at all. Recoding would take noticeable a lot longer.
I am usually using ffmpeg to remux. You could check the streams with it and see if both have the same streams.
Mason Bennett
Because you'd have to drink a quite a bit of milk before getting the amount you can get in a pill or even a chewable vitamin. But if you prefer to drink milk that's not an issue either.
Joseph Parker
Yep. That's weird.
Cooper Martinez
There's an option in 4chanx to allow sound, do you have it enabled?
Nicholas Mitchell
what's the syntax for case sensitive filters? I'm using 4chanx
Ryan Baker
>the hussle of manually uninstalling stuff Dude. You just go through your package manager, uncheck a bunch of shit, click apply. Linux doesn't leave a bunch of jizz in some registry you can never wash out. It's like uninstalling android apps. Shit just gone.
Chase Young
It was just one audio stream. I remember I once remuxed some content produced on a DVD-R and when I put the VOBs through mkvtoolnix to remove the Russian audio I got a big filesize decrease. I figured it had to do with the source's bad interlaced video. It's probably not a big deal but I worry about shit going into my archive.
Luke Phillips
I don't want to carry my smartphone with me anymore. What's something lightweight I can use instead? I used to carry my t400 but that becomes cumbersome really quickly. I have a 3ds but that makes me feel pedo when I use it. Idk. Psp maybe? I prefer something that will help me be productive and not have internet idk.
