Anyone know of a usb hub similar to this but without the shitty green light? for something that's made to look nice and sit out on the desk...why would they add a green "power on" light that's going to be constantly on?

Come to and we'll help you pick one.

Just like, remove the LED.

there's no good way to get into it. it looks like the sides are glued on and the bottom doesnt have screws

Put duct tape on it.

amazon.com/Anker-Unibody-Aluminum-Portable-Notebook/dp/B00IJ331WY/

....? that one also has a "power on" light...

just add some tape over it
or smash it

tape kills the aesthetic

destroy the LED with a small powerdrill, by making a small hole in the middle

how about you stop being a little bitch then?
jesus christ, you're pathetic
a USB hub is not a fucking fashion accessory

No, because duct tape it's silver like your toy.

Just put a small dab of white paint over it. We black out the red alarm leds on the equipment at work all of the time.

>white
silver

how the fuck are you going to know it's working though?

because it stays plugged in--i'm not moving that shit around. once i get it plugged in once it's fucking done. no need for the stupid light.

Why does that keyboard have a dedicated eject key?

a stupid light seems fitting for a stupid person
neck yourself, macfag

that's actually pretty cool

don't use a mac, just have an aluminum and white them going on

not really, considering it's 2018 and disc based media is dead

Apple killed the inbuilt optical drive.
But they still have an eject key on their keyboards.

it's a hub
why do you need it to look pretty
what's actually wrong with you

because i'm a grown ass man and don't want to buy ugly shit?

if a single led on a usb hub bothers you then i don't think you have a right to call yourself an adult, whatever your age is

If you want more function, look into mouse bungees

>a little crane thingy to hold mouse wire
>3x usb 2.0 on the back
>1x usb 3.0 on side
>1x some port near 3.0 on side
>mouse-bungee-pluggy-thing-to-pc cable
Quite nice. Not a huge fan of the design myself, but I considered it a very fair compromise for the amount of utility it's brought to my desk.

What is it with chinks and their obsession with sticking LEDs on shit? I don't want an LED on it, and it'd actually be simpler and cost them less if they didn't add it. Why?

stop being an autist and put tape over it

black electrical tape so it blocks all the light and blends in better

I hate LEDs on things, I just cover with tape.

I don't know of any similar USB hub but without the LED.

Sorry I couldn't help.

How do I know you aren't actually a grown man?

I have the same but with blue led.

Anker make a black one. Get some matte black nail varnish and paint over it. I've done it, looks clean.

This is the one I'm talking about, but in black.

He know what he wants and he's looking for it. He's not submissive, unwilled cuck like you.

I bought a Russian made usb hub off of the Russian AliExpress. The build quality is not the greatest but it works and has no LED lights. I think I paid 5€ for it.

I'd just unscrew the chassis and block the LED with a piece of tape inside. Won't look bad or anything as the "light" you see on the outside is really an acrylic light guide that leads to the internal LED.

Thread should have ended here.

i can't see any screw holes on the chassis per

Did this a while back.
Have two. They're great.
