I disagree.

>automatic backups
for what, media, contacts and such? it's been a thing on Android since forever
>Stuff literally just works without config
just like on Android?
>>Don't need to turn off wifi in order for phone to make it through the day without dying from scanning for wifi networks all day long
i never turn off mine and last 3 days on a single charge with moderate use
>Better app store
somewhat, it's not the store that's better, it's the apps
>Better optimized
which means fuck all if there's nothing to use that good optimization on due to a walled garden OS
>5+ years of software updates, versus 0 updates
2 years of updates, the rest is making the phone obsolete via the updates

both Android and iOS have pros and cons
I use Android on my personal phone and an iPhone as a work phone
Blindly following one side is idiotic

the NSA also does "automatic backups" hehhe very convenient, just werks jes

iPhones also can't be stolen as easily as an Android.
>steal iPhone
>wipe it
>whoops it wants your iCloud password and this can't be circumvented
versus
>steal Android
>wipe it
>sell it
HMMMMMM

The topic would appear to be moot as Android is controlled opposition to iOS.

My guess is that Android is made inferior to iOS on purpose in an effort to sabotage other phone manufacturers.

>for what, media, contacts and such?
It includes app data

You Can't wipe it if it has a password :)

what app data?
most apps store all settings in the cloud anyway

>what is recovery
>what is download mode on Samsung phones
It's very easy to wipe Android phones without the password. It's literally impossible to wipe an iPhone without the iCloud password.

Cringe and bluepilled.
Enjoy having your thousand dollar smartphone obsoleted over the next year when the kikes at apple intentionally kill your phone with an update.

I have a Samsung s7 edge.
My gf has an iPhone 6s.
Her phone is constantly running out of battery and takes forever to charge.

>Samshit = Android?

Well your chinkphone is easier, you just go to recovery

>road trip
>"hey dude play something"
>phone doesn't have a headphone jack
>Bluetooth is universally terrible in every head unit
At least nobody will know your awful taste in music, I guess

>expecting anybody on Jow Forums to have friends

>what app data?
Any data and settings in the apps
>most apps store all settings in the cloud anyway
Hit-and-miss

>Automatic backups
On android too, but why would I want to give all my data to a shitty company?
>Stuff literally just works without config
Not the way I want and config is terribly limited.
>Don't need to turn off wifi in order for phone to make it through the day without dying from scanning for wifi networks all day long
What?
>Better app store
Who the fuck uses app store instead of downloading .apks?
>Better optimized
Yup, that's why older iphones don't run properly aftet updates.
>5+ years of software updates, versus 0 updates
You meant downgrades.

It's better for tech iliterates, it offers nothing to literates.

>locked bootloader
Objectively dead on arrival.

>not plugging into the head unit and bypassing the shitty phone dac
I can't believe you thought you had a valid point.

You can't do jackshit to recovery if you don't first autohrize the computer for ADB, and you can only autohrize it with the phone unlocked
Also, wiping the phone from the OEM recovery prompts for the Google account password the phone was set up on boot up before it can be used

>Objectively
Not everybody has autism.

>Who the fuck uses app store instead of downloading .apks?
99,9% of Android's user base?
like come the fuck on

>Who the fuck uses app store instead of downloading .apks?

>almost all Android phones have locked bootloaders now
hmmmm

>All of them save for cuck brands allow you to unlock it
Hmmmm

If that's an Apple iSkeleton(TM), it should be overheating.

I use a V20 so the phone DAC is better than the car's, and there's no substitute for the 3.5 mm port. Micro USB vs usb-C vs lightning or just one that works

Moving the goalposts.
