I know a couple who sort of can, plus me. It's definitely not on the cs course of study at my school

at my uni we did assembly. I hate it, i think it's annoying. But I can write RISC-V if need be.

What's more fun and equally as pointless is rewriting some C utilities in assembly and figuring out how to link it all up so that you use your own strlen or printf. Your binaries won't run on anyone else's system!

I don't know why people study CS

Most brainlets get scammed into CS thinking its about programming too, CS is just mathematics that is concerned with computing.

Like the algorithm that we use for long division on paper could be considered a breakthrough in the computer science's.

I'm technically not a CS major, so i'm ok with aspiring codemonkeys getting scammed.
