Why does Jow Forums hate Intel?

Their mobile CPUs are good.

Who's this cute anime thot

No one does

Only AMD shills and marketers

the cpus arent hated, the company with its shady tactics, continuous bribes and their constant lies are
also, nowadays, intel cpus are a liability, literally

now, shoo shoo, marketeer, back to where you came from

up untill a year ago amd was hotter slower bla bla..
nowdays intel is hotter it runs slower in everything but games it cant keep up with the yields it cant offer a decent hedt since they will cannibalise their server market
intel for all intent and purpose is what amd was a year ago and there is no sign that they will recover anytime soon

Management Engine

Also the crappy support in general for anyone who's not American Megatrends

incels are brainwashed

when I bought my haswell xeon I really liked intel offering that cash-back deal.
since the cpu doesn't have hyper threading in the first place I wasn't even that mad about the flaws being revealed now.

When I built a desktop pc last year I picked ryzen tho.
not because of love/hate of a company, but
simply because it looked like to be the better deal.

maybe when intel does a proper architecture overhault I'll buy one next time.
however, if they push more shit like the 8xxx, there is no incentive to buy intel other than brand loyality
(haven't looked into 9xxx yet, but I'm probably good till 2021 at least)

Are Xeons really affected at all by the fixes for Spectre and Meltdown? I've updated the BIOS on my Thinkpad and the firmware on my parents' PC, but I've left my gaming desktop alone because I'm concerned that a firmware update will affect the performance of my E3-1225v3.

from what I gathered one should think of disabling hyper threading which does affect performance as cores are not utilized efficiently anymore

I've also read about problems with the floating point unit
no clue if there even can be done anything software wise

not an expert, and even experts are probably not aware yet how bad things really are, other than new gaping attack vektors
so why give them money until they fix it

Nice trigger discipline.

>Shalom!
They're not even trying to hide it

nothing more off putting than proportionally oversized tits even in anime or irl, like who would even find these appealing?

Too expensive.

Straight men.
