Just use BeautifulSoup my dude

That's what you get for leaving things until the last minute.
Why did not you do your homework? Too busy playing League of Legends?.

urllib is a standard library module

If you are too lazy

Question: when did you receive this assignment? Or rather, when did your class receive it because I'm sensing an incoming slew of excuses as to why you don't have enough time, or how it's someone else's fault that you didn't receive the assignment with enough time to complete it, when in fact I'm betting more on you not paying attention or some serious procrastination on your part.

So let's have the honest truth: why haven't you completed it already, or at least made serious headway on it? It's python.... Someone with the ability to focus, without learning disabilities, that has never written a line of code in their life could sit down and learn enough python to complete this assignment inside of a week. You're in a fucking class that gives assignments like this, so you've obviously been taught more python than this hypothetical person. You should be able to do this on your own.

what kind of shit cs class is that

Just send the evaluator an email saying your crippling depression didn't let you work.

It's not really hard stuff, but laying all that stuff all pretty and with exception handleing will take you a day.

Its a resit in the summer, and i couldnt help it, i feel like everytime theres a lecture about this i just fucking start yawning and cant even focus.
And i have no excuse, shit i didint even try doing it until 4 hrs b4 the deadline today

Well, I'll give it to you, at least you're honest and owning that it's your own fault. That said, it might not hurt to see a doctor about your lack of focus. ADHD is 'hot' right now so a lot of doctors are getting kickbacks for prescribing Adderall... The shit might actually help you.

> 3 hours until deadline
> goed to post on Jow Forums rather than writing the project in 2 hours tops
>kek

found a cool button to put on your burger King apron yet?

i have GOOD NEWS fellas, one of my friends shared his non resit file with me. IM GONNA MAKE IT, now i just gotta make sure i learn from this mistake, how do you motivate yourself to learn??

Well, to be totally honest, I made it through premed and med school entirely on drugs and caffeine. (And I'm an addiction specialist physician kek) but that was mostly for dealing with the insane hours. I went to med school pre-Libby Zion, so we weren't limited to 80 hours a week during my residency. Imagine being in classrooms, lectures, etc for 8 hours a day, THEN rushing back to your apartment to launch yourself into a shower (i would often take a sandwich into the shower with me to multitask), then rush to the hospital where you're playing doctor for 12 hours (16-20 on days without class). And for 10-18 of those hours depending on the day, you've got an attending up your ass because they're supposed to be teaching you, and then if you're lucky as fuck you can actually use your two hours of break time to catch a nap in the on call rooms *without* your attending messaging you and telling you to come do their scut, then you go back home and provided you didn't lose too much time in traffic going to and from class, home and the hospital you can catch about 2 hours of sleep before you're due back in a class or lecture.

I fucking WISH I could be in med school now. It's super sad that a girl had to die to make it happen, but Libby's Law limiting residency hours to 80/week would have made my residency a breeze. 8-10 hour nights on days I have class and 12-14 on days I don't? Hnnng.

Oh, right.... Your actual question: I found that the best way to focus was to pick something that I'm truly passionate about and really, deeply, wanted to do. For me, that was addiction medicine.

im already 3 years deep into IT studies, always wanted to be a detective tho.. damn, i hope ill be happy with the paycheck, and sounds like u went thru some rough times, hope ur doing better right now user

oh yeah, thats nice

It was hard, but well worth it. And I'm not just talking about the third of a million dollars I get paid every year lol. It's a very fulfilling career. Every day is a new challenge to tackle, because just when you think you've seen everything, someone walks through the doors of a treatment center with something you've never seen before. Like yesterday, I did intake on a girl addicted to eating a specific brand of petroleum jelly, but she was having a total freak out because it was a store brand for a certain pharmacy that was bought out by another pharmacy so they replaced all of the rite aid brand stuff with Walgreen's brand. This girl didn't seek out treatment for her addiction to eating fucking store brand Vaseline until she couldn't get her brand anymore... Not because she's fucking sick and needs help, but because she couldn't get the thing she's addicted to anymore.

And that happens all the damn time; people only seeking help when they can no longer sustain their addiction. People on meth or heroin and their only dealer goes to jail so they're detoxing, etc, thinking that we have some kind of magic bullet that cures their hellish withdrawal symptoms. We don't. Our solution is to basically strap them down and/or sedate them until the worst of it passes.

If you want to be a detective, start out by checking the local laws for where you live about private detective work. You may only have to do a few classes and buy a license. Then do side work as a P.I. at the very least you'll have something to fall back on if you're ever laid off from an IT job, and after a while you'll have some good experience in detective work to apply to your local police academy, then after you graduate the academy, when you're interviewing at a PD, let them know you're looking to make detective. P.I. make great vice detectives as you'll already have contacts among dealers, addicts, hookers, etc to use as informants.

All of the stuff in the pic is fun to do and you can make something decent in 2-3 hours. Retard lazy boy get strong punish.

Seriously this OP. I don't mean for this to come off as insulting, but you might want to see a Physician for ADD. No matter what people like to say about it, ADD is a real condition and many people have benefited from getting treatment for it. It might help you in the long run.

Why the fuck is medical residency so fucking absurd? It really sounds like borderline hazing, not education. Also, how the fuck is letting some exhausted and sleep deprived person practice medicine a good idea?

Attached: 1526184472747.jpg (480x320, 24K)

And if you had all summer you should have thought of something useful for it to do also where all the tasks become incidental. WEBSITE GUARDIAN ULTRA PLUS PREMIUM - boomers want to know when indian cyberpirates hack anal porno into their wedding cake business comments and you'll make money giving them the solution. etc

sounds very interesting, although if i did go for a career as a detective id wanna start with the police academy since im sure i dont have good enough basics to make it out there, thanks for the advice tho, were all gonna make it

too many times have i checked myself online about this, my final conlusion is that its a meme in my case. I simply am used to high action games (shooters and fast paced RTS) and thats why once im off it, i feel like everything else is dull for a while

Dude, I can't express to you how correct you are. That's why Libby's Law exists now. In 2003 an 18 year old girl named Libby Zion died from shit that a fucking first year resident should have caught and treated, but several residents missed it completely because they were overworked and exhausted, all having clocked something like 120+ hours, and not a damn one of them should have been on the floor. Prior to Libby dying, it was not uncommon for residents to have 24 hour rotations (24 hours on, 12 off, 24 on, 12 off, etc) which is really bad for their patients. My first shift was literally 40 hours because there was a severe outbreak of food poisoning among a bunch of residents and attendings when they went to a seafood buffet for orientation. The only ones that didn't get sick were me and the three vegetarians in my group (I'm allergic to methylmercury so I can't eat any seafood at all) so we had to pick up all the extra hours for everyone that was down with food poisoning. It SUUUUCKED. I was expecting the normal 24 hour first rotation. I think I maybe got 2-3 hours of broken sleep during that first shift. I'm shocked I didn't kill someone, being on the floor of the ward that handles overdoses, psych holds/eval, and detox. People detoxing from alcohol and benzodiazapines can literally DIE from their withdrawal symptoms ffs.

Then you have obviously chosen wrong study....
Find something else to do. There is no point to this if you do not care about it, you will never be good then, which in turn will make you unemployable. There are hard demands in this field

Id like to think that i can adapt myself with experience over time in the field. Like work my way from some lowly tech support to hopefully network analyst or smth of the sort

Jesus Christ that sounds fucking ridiculous! I hope things are better for you now. Good luck!

Attached: 1512732469421.gif (200x200, 900K)

well you got a good point actually. I didn't think about that techies have to have a lot of this too. My class was kinda divided on this very matter, techies didn't like coding at all

Oh hell yeah. I work 1am-11am sun-thursday, have Friday and Saturday all to myself, and really most of my job now is seeing a patient, making a recommendation of treatment, then having my assistant do all of my paperwork when I go home. It's way easy. I honestly don't see how my job justifies being paid nearly $350,000 a year but after the hell i went through to get where I am, I'm certainly not going to turn it down. I think it's going to lead to some serious layoffs down the line though as a lot of the salaries are due to this "opioid epidemic" that really isn't any worse than it was before. Next president I guarantee it won't be a priority and everyone not willing to take a 30% pay cut will get the axe. I've been preparing for that by being frugal as fuck and living like I make $30,000/year so when my boss comes to me in a few years and says "user, we're going to have to let you go if you're not willing to work for substantially less than we pay you now" it won't bother me or be a "hardship" (yeah, there are people making six figures that actually call their salary a financial hardship.)

I had to do this exact same assignment, it was identical.

damn, where did u study?? edinburrgh??

Attached: peppp.png (646x595, 280K)

I hope you fail user, because then at least you will have learned 1 thing

Stay strong, user kun

Wait a tick, Libby Zion was in the mid 80's. This would mean you're at least in your 50's, wouldn't it? That's pretty neat, what draws you to this place?
