Dude, chill out. Alot of people don't mind lower graphics or 30fps. Building a PC is not a spec game. Its building something that fits your usecase. Some people would rather not spend more money on something they didn't want in the first place. That's the whole reason people say building a PC is cheaper. It's because you don't spend your money on a load of unnecessary crap you didn't want (for that price anyway)

A 1030 can probably play any games out today at low graphics. It's cheap as well. That's why people recommend it for Budget gaming.

I use a 1050Ti and I have no issues running games. I usually run at high settings and get around 60 FPS. Some games I do need to turn down the graphic settings some, like fallout 4 and no mans sky. But other than that, I don't have too many issues with it.

No mans sky is killing me currenty with 750ti. So waiting for the 2 week price drop in 1080s.

it mostly lags on the loading screen for me. And occasionally the game will just crash when I'm with friends and we're trying to start a mission from someones freighter. But it's a small issue that I don't get upset about.

Doing single and learning it, sad that I have to low settings everything. Not giving up though as I need the requirements anyhow for star citizen.

The 1050 Ti is very shitty. I would rather get a 1060 or 480 (used). 1050 Ti costs almost 200 €. Its efficient, but slow.

the 1050ti doesn't require an 8 pin pcie power connector unlike the 1060, so it's better for media centers and small builds, GPU's all have a different market they are going for and the 1050ti is for small form factor purposes (like laptops) where you can get some 1080p gaming without needing an excessive power supply

I've 290x and a 1080ti. the Nvidia uses way more power at boot. So much current inrush that my seasonic 500w couldn't power it.

I wonder if any of the people in this thread complaining about and shitting on the 1050Ti have ever actually used one. I have one in my PC right now and I am more than pleased with the performance I get from it. Most games run and default at high settings in which I normally get 50-60 FPS. It's only a few games that need to go in and tweak the video setting for, and even then it's not that much to make the games aesthetically pleasing and run well.

At worst, mining GPU will have the same fatigue as your normal gaming GPU over the course of a given time frame with slightly worse fan wear. If the GPU shuts off the fan if the GPU is operating under X degrees, then the fan will have, on average, the same wear as its GPU counterpart.

I used to have a GTX 960 which is roughly the same performance as a 1050Ti. It was fine for 1080p, not sure what OPs getting at. The only game it struggled to get 60fps at reasonable settings on was Deus Ex Mankind Divided, that game was a shitshow.
