Instead of mobile devices getting more energy saving, they will get stuffed even more with useless shit like 16k displays at 120Hz. Battery tech improved so much you carry around a 15amp hour battery in your pockets waiting to warm your balls in a fiery manner if you accidentally sit on your phone.

Not a single phone left with an SD slot, removable battery (unless you want to unscrew the phone and fuck it up), or single part of the phone that's not screen. Laptops with fewer ports (one of which has to be used to power it), soldered/glued everything, can't even upgrade RAM or the SSD. Basically everyone follows Apple's worst decisions.
As for anything good, can't think of anything.

I had a sort of wonderous hope making it to 2020. It seemed so far away it promised unbelievable changes for the better. Flying cars, spaceships, and access to space were guaranteed. Best of all was the uncertainty of what was about to come. We didn't know exactly but it was sure to be amazing. Somethings we couldn't possibly predict.
We wasted that cool future because we used that money on rapefugees and benefits for other undesirables around the world. Intead of landers to other celestial to objects we now have mosques on everything block. We traded science CERN-like facilities in both the US and Europe for prisions full of disgusting foreigners who hate us. Forget about funding next level technology like fusion or quantum entanglement, you now can choose between lesbian African Studies 101, and get a degree in applied Cultural Marxism.

Advancements in AI, blockchain, wearable tech, virtual/augmented reality, wireless charging, electric vehicles, driverless vehicles and bionics will be more prominent in tech next decade. E-democracy will be greatly expanded however this will be used as a tool to falsify and manipulate public opinion rather than giving citizens more power (which is how it is marketed). Consumer electronics as an industry will continue to grow but as a technology they won't advance nearly as rapidly as they have over the past few decades. Surveillance will further incorporate machine learning and this will be one of the biggest privacy concerns. "Internet police" will be a much bigger thing, far more people will be imprisoned for inflammatory posts made online and accessing things governments don't want them to. Restricting access to the internet and electronics will also be more commonplace in legal sentences.

Crispr Cas9 is not that dangerous. Existing bacteria/viruses can be "efficient" enough for weapons use. But expect more single point mutations being repaired by it in human embryos.

Covering 2020 to 2030, Id say we can expect:
>United States Space Force
A space program with the budget of a military branch (equivalent to the Air Force, according to Trump, which is pretty good). This will allow some better opportunities for developing technology in space, which namely would best be better manufacturing techniques. Using microgravity and the void of space, more efficient electronics can be made, and over time those electronics will be exposed to the consumer market, even if that itself doesn’t occur in the 2020’s.
>”Virophagotics”
The idea of using virophages to fight bacterial infections and even cancer. It’s pretty ordinary shit that’s kind of surprising that we haven’t been already doing for decades, but with advancements in genetics engineering and finally some recognition, it’ll likely finally start getting looked into in the 2020’s.
>Some gimmicky “futuristic” form of transportation that just becomes a toy for rich kids
Every decade has one. You can bet your ass the next decade will too.
>Technological progress in Africa
China is trying to pioneer this one, and so far it’s working pretty well. We may see the Chinese industrial complex shifting to Africa (which is the overall goal), which’ll be interesting. Inserting some competition may yield some even better and more interesting results.
>Either getting closer to AI, Quantum Computers, or multi TB Silicon Disks
None of the above will probably be achieved, but we’ll have a whole decade to get closer to figuring it all out.
>Mars Colony
This one is iffy, but I want to believe. We’re on the road there boys, we just need to stay on that road.

No one is tearing down universities to build prisons for child refugees. No one is stopping you from pursuing stem studies. The only people that regurgitate these bullshit everywhere are normally the ones who think they're entitled to everything because they have some recessive genes.
"teh gobermint" doesn't house immigrants and refugees out of the goodness of their hearts. they do it to use it as a leverage in economic and political dealings that concern the relationship between several countries. If you weren't a basement dwelling faggot, you'd at least try to understand the complexity of the situation instead of always larping.

If you understand what 5G is you'll notice that it's only useful in really crowded places like mega cities or festivals/events. Everything else will be better off using 4G. It's most important for places in Asia where there are a shit ton of people and lots of mega cities, but smaller cities or rural areas are completely unaffected by 5G.
