What do you mean by "laptop just corrupted"? If its just the motherboard or cpu that shat itself or water damage most likely the hard drive is fine. Just take the hard drive out and use a SATA to usb cable to read it. Also, why do you not have back ups??? Especially for the stuff on your laptop! Like a laptop is in way more danger then a desktop. Next time have back ups. Personally I have 2 external hard drives that I use for back ups that I keep well away from each other and the desk top.

If I lost all my data, I wouldn't care anymore. It happened to me once 10 years ago and at the time I did care. Now I just live minimalistic. Almost all of my 2TB drive isn't backed up cause it's mostly shit, the important stuff is on the cloud anyways.
