Have a GTX 1060 6gb

Unless you have two monitors, why do people waste $700-1000+ on a GPU? whats wrong with some people.

What do you expect of gaymurs user? Literally the lowest denominator of human existence. Either that or they are completely sub-human.

The only way to justify paying over 350$ for a GPU is if you want to play at 1440p at high settings

High graphic intensive games need better GPUs for +144fps. What do you not understand about this? You probably play OSU! or some shit

I am one of those "gaymurs", been repping it since 2002, and started on CS 1.5. But even i';m not that fucking stupid to shell out stupid money for a GPU when even the lowest card out of that generation plays everything perfectly.

My 1060 gets 144+ in a lot of games, retard. But then again, i was not an idiot and have high quality fast ram, great motherboard, a 8700k OC'd to 5ghz.

That was meant for this retardo;

You still haven't said what games you're referring to...

Is the 1060 good with VR?
I think most people who bought 1070+ are those who also in VR.

Literally every new game released in 2017 and this year, must suck knowing a 1060 literally rapes at 1080.

Never tried VR, and not going to until all the bugs, and shit system is fixed. For 1080 it cuts it like a hot knife through butter, for VR i'd probably get a 1070 just for it.

>trying to justify your poverty

kys

1060 actually seems fine

>implying you don;'t have a subpar ram, mobo, cpu, and everything else in your garbage system

lol

Have fun with your low-medium graphics in September.

I have one; it's good. I threw a lot of games and it performs quite nicely. I might even skip a lot of generation until breaks down or something.

Like now, I'm playing MGS5 and I'm so shit at it, it lost my drive playing video games. I'm so invested at the memes but when I learned how hard it is for me, I just felt heartbroken.

But that's wrong, have fun with your autism.

You too

I got a 1080 and @ 1080p 144mhz, I'm set for awhile.

>I might even skip a lot of generation until breaks down or something.

Litrelly what im doing, i don't see the 1060 breaking down or suffering in games in a very long time.

i use my 1060 3gb to be an anime girl in VR

still chilling with my 970/2500k user. Feels fine to me as well. Feels like there has been a giant plato in the gaming world since 2012.

it just werks

PLEB

>with threadripper

So you do have a poverty system

lmao

Can't wait for foveated rendering so we can use sensible amounts of processing power again in our GPUs.

>he thinks I dont have 32gb of ram with threadripper
get good

those temps lmfao

fool is so poor he spent all of his money on his PC and can't afford an AC

>fool is so poor he spent all of his money on his PC and can't afford an AC
i dont pay for electricity or housing, so im not particularly upset about some slightly high temps.

>8700k
>anything other than a 1080
Dumbass. A system with a cheaper 1/2600 with a 1080 will rape an 8700k system with only a 1060 at a cheaper price.

Only in games.

Aren't temps read like 27C too high on threadrippers?
But still:
