wow I didn't even know that was a thing. Never had an issue with zombie processes, but that's rather interesting. I added the handles category to my task manager details tab for future reference.

user, im sorry, would love it if you could report it on the forums

yeah i use vray with Rhino for 3D work for my job. though I also have it on my laptop (win7) and it never had this issue. maybe a reinstall would fix it

are you using a pirated or licensed vray and which version?
if you are using a pirated version then it might (but shouldn't) happen because of too many false connections

Kek, thinking people are paying for your shit.

I never had that problem.

on my laptop i have two partitions, one is a licence through work (vray 3 and rhino 6) and the other is rhino 5/vray2 pirate both on Win7. On my desktop Its Rhino5/Vray2 pirate on Win10

Actually, i do have one huge request for future version of vray:
make it able to auto search directories for material maps (or use relative directories)

A HUGE problem where i work is that we use google file stream for data and contractors get limited access to the files so while my material may be located at G:\office\private\data\project\rhino\materials, the temp guy only gets G:\rhino materials which BREAKS every map when working on files between me and him
Same thing with proxies. if a proxy breaks, you have to relink ALL of them even its an identical proxy.

Happy to help, user.

working people, i.e not neet losers like you are

does the issue happen with the vray 2 license server? if so, you might want to see if it happens with vray next's license server

thanks for the input, I'll see if that's possible in vray next and if it's a viable feature

>4gb ram idle is normal
I can't even try to make this up. Windows-fags are so deluded.

Tell me about it.

I have no clue what that is but do as the other user.

If you find a problem with a program you use, leave a comment on their forum to let them know there's something wrong.
