AMD IS KILL!!!
RTX 2070 WILL COST 499 DOLLARS AND BE AS FAST AS THE 1080TI/TIXAN XP.
CHEAPER THAN VEGA 64 AND MUCH FASTER. I REPEAT, AMD IS KILL.

Faster
newsflash dipshit
1080ti is 20% better in all aspects than the 2080
take your trash xx70 card and get out of here
/v/-tier thread
No
Uhmm, no, the rtx 2070 is confirmed faster than the Tixan xp (which is equivalent to a 1080ti), both in general and in ray tracing.
Keep coping, Ayyyymmmdddlet.
>RTX 2070 WILL COST 499 DOLLARS AND BE AS FAST AS THE 1080TI/TIXAN XP.
[citation needed]
Just said on the stream nigger
Even if it’s true it’s garbage.
I bought my 1080ti on release day what, 18 months ago and you’re going to barely beat my performance for 100 dollars less?
Great job nvidia
faster raytracing, yes
it was never said it was faster than 1080TI/TIXAN XP
and i doubt it will be, why would they make the cards they have in the market obsolete by selling a better one for less? its stupid
stream
IT JUST WERKS GUYS RAYTRACING JUST WERKS
revolution requires sacrifices 1080 ti will be first martyr
>confirmed
Substantiate your claims, nCuck.
You can't because there are no valid benchmarks of it yet.
>inb4 noVideo RajaTX scores
Kys.
he was talking about ray tracing idiot
The 1080ti was way more than 600 dollars at release you retard. The 2070 will also drop down to around 400 eventually.
>literally everything ever disclosed was about ray tracing crap nobody gives a shit about and it'll take a few years to become a standard
Literally nothing said about outside of RTX performance. As far as I am concerned you could get less FPS with RTX off on a series 20 card than a series 10.
I want to see some actual benchmarks, the presentation itself was shoddy at best. As far as reflections and shadows look though, they are great, but they only focused on that because previous series sucked at it. How about some level field numbers?
t. 1080 (non-ti) user.
He literally said 2070 is faster than titan xp
kys
> confirmed
How is that confirmed?
its always been like this your top of the line card is outdated within 6-8 months. unless you include the 5000 versions of the 8800.
>and i doubt it will be, why would they make the cards they have in the market obsolete by selling a better one for less? its stupid
AMD copelets always say this.
Because Nvidia is at the forefront of GPU, tech. They are pushing the industry forward. Get over it.
ITT: people who cant read charts
1080ti is only second to 2080, op is a brainlet
IT'S CONFIRMED BELIEVE IT DATEBAYO
>RTX 2070 WILL COST 499 DOLLARS
*long exhale*
>companies like throwing millions away
its not how his works
It was shown right on the stream. You're posting fake prices for all 3 cards, you retarded amd shill
IN. FUCKING. RAYTRACING!
jesus fucking christ you people are daft.
same, maybe they will adjust the price to 499. Cant tell everyone its 499 then put 599 on the tag at the site
you are braindead
Pascal has already been for over 2 years you mongoloid.
b..b..but these are just founders editions.. the real ones you'll never get your hands on will be $500... m..maybe wait for after market that will be $700..
NO IN EVERYTHING 2070 IS 6X FASTER IN EVERYTHING!!!
>Not knowing about Founders Edition price vs MSRP for reference version.
Did momma drop you on your head when you were young?
so?
Go on their website you mongoloid.
>MSRP for reference version
LMAO
lmao no it's not.
1. Keep 2 years old Pascal prices the same since everyone got used to prices during crypto mining.
2. Price new GPU's much higher than the rate of inflation.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!
BTW $499 does not includes tax/vat
The only thing that was killed today is the GPU market's chance to ever reach normal prices again. That's nothing to be proud of you retard.
>bots hyping this shit on twatter
>NiggerVidia shilling the board as well
Where are the benchmarks? People aren't seriously pre-ordering without seeing any benchmarks, right?
GIGARAYS
>$499
Since when did these things ever sell for MSRP? They're always way above.
Fully ray-traced desktop OS when?
even nvidia sells them for more
To be fair user, i think the math speaks for its self on these puppies. I dont think they will really improve 1080p gaming much oover the current gen stuff but 4K gaming got much more realistic with these cards. Plus these Tensor cpus will help my render times alot I bet
>OY VEY, THIS GAME SOON-TO-BE RELEASED WORKS BEST ON NVIDIA RTX
>All of /v/eddit buys it en masse
>still replying to that troll...
You're right
We need some competition badly, Intel please save us
When will be rtx 2070 released? I see 20. september for rtx 2080 ti in eshop but 2070 are not even there yet.
AMD fanboys out in full force today.
see
It's a misleading presentation.
Using RTX-OPS instead of established TFLOPs and other metrics.
You're going to turn raytracing off anyway for performance, just like you turn off all those other shitty options.
Pull the spec sheets and you'll see that 2080Ti > 1080Ti = 2080 =~ 2070 > 1080 > Rest
TEN
GIGA
RAYS
There's no release date there
If people could only convince others not to buy and watch these tech companies scramble to actually come up with significant innovation instead of the same thing over and over.
exactly
just pre-order, goy
delete this, it's not circlejerking, falseflagging or wrong
>7.5GB
Where's muh budget 2060 and 2050?
"budget"
IF the 2060 will also feature RT cores, that thing will be 350-400$ because of die size.
What are the 2070 specs?
nevermind I'm retarded
bwahahahahaha
yeah ok nvidia
>It's a misleading presentation.
Which was the point.
From $499 means even the shittiest AIB partner will start at around $550 or more.
nVidia getting away with it because they changed a letter in their product naming scheme and added some fancy reflections which won't matter 90% of your time playing
Am I the only one who doesn't give a shit about high-end gpus?
There's a slight chance 2060/2050 would offer acceptable value.
>2060/2050
Those are Pascal refreshes, they're not in the RTX line.
Are they?
Rumor is the 2060 and 2050 will be named GTX and not RTX. But that doesn't necessarily mean it won't use a Turing gpu. Perhaps it simply won't have an RT core and will use GDDR5.
Why use G5 when you can use G6 and halve the bus width?
cause it's cheaper to make? why do you think they put GDDR3 in those 1030 cards
How will team red respond?
>cause it's cheaper to make?
1030 is what, 64but bus?
Can't make it smaller.
Not the same with 2060/2050.
AMD has nothing to compete with the 2080s
perhaps with the 2070 but even that's doubtful
these threads are why Jow Forums is shit
Why would they?
They have other things to worry about.
Like what?
What about the 32GB HBM2 cards?
Newfigs won't remember this but Nvidia brought tessellation to the 4xx series and basically had a gpu within a gpu, called the polymorph engine. It took amd until Polaris to catch by and what amd did was basically saying fuck it and including their own version of the polymorph to handle tessellations.
Nvidia knowing amd cards was incredibly shit at tessellation they created gameworks, where they basically sponsored game devs and gave them free shit and a direct phone line to tech support to ensure their games have a shit load of tessellation so that amd cards run like shit.
Looks like this will be round two. Except the differences are between night and day and you're basically a pleb if you pay $60 to experience a worse version of the game if you don't own an RTX gpu.
>Like what?
Eating Intel's server share for breakfast.
You know, products with >90% margins.
?
AMD still has nothing like PE.
Polaris still has 4 tesselators.
>Nvidia says the new Nvidia GPU will be faster than the old Nvidia GPU that they want you to replace
lets wait for benchmarks before we suffer from this faggotry, he said it was faster at ray tracing
this faggot doesn't want 6 times more RTXOPS!
>RTXOPS
I audibly kekked when I heard that.
GameDebate's benches show the regular shift. 1080 Ti ~= to 2080 in games.
I wouldn't mind a 250 dollar 1070 as a 2060 to upgrade from r9 390 if AMD doesn't announce anything.
2070 is faster than 1080 ti but slower than 1080.
Has science gone too far?
>Getting hyped before real world benchmarks.
>Being a brand loyal brainlet.
AMD knew they would take an L this year in the graphics department. They're far more focused on shitting on Intel and trying to take over the CPU market.
Currently the best PC combo: AMD + Nvidia
At these prices that would probably be the most sane option. But I doubt 2060s will go for $250.
>250 dollar 1070 as 2060
HAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA
LOL
AMD won't have anything until mid 2019 with Navi
Yeah. I doubt it to. But it's the only way I'd pay. These cards are mediocore and their "THIS IS REAL TIME" Demo shit wasn't impressive whatsoever. It looked like early 2000's 3D to me and was wondering how they could unironically show that trash off.
Now they are trying to shill improved SSR as worthy of a generation upgrade.
r9 390 is doing me well so I'm in no rush.
ALL THE LEAKS ARE WRONG ITS ONLY 3000 PAYMENTS
SO WE INVERSE RAY TRACING WE ARE TRACING RAYS THROUGH THE EYE THERES NO REASON TO TRACE THE LIGHT IN TRIANGLES WHEN YOURE REFLECTIONS
AND THATS BECAUSE OF OUR GIGAJIGGARAYS PER SECOND
BUT THEN OF THE TEN BOXES OF TEN BOXES I CAN IGNORE THE ONE BOX WITH THE OTHER BOX IS ANOTHER TEN SMALL BOXES OF MY TEN TEN EIGHTY TEA EYE BOXES OF TEN BOXES WITH BOXES OF TRIANGLES AND BOUNDING BOXES SO WE KNOW WHAT BOUNDING BOXES SO WHICH ONE OF THE TRIANGLES IS IT
ITS VERY QUICK MATHS
WHICH IS REALLY REALLY HARD PARALLELISM WHERE WE CREATE INCOHERENT THINGS AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT
GOD THIS IS HEAVY DEEP LEARNING
Why wouldn't they just make a card with no rtx cords and use that silicone for more raw performance...?
It's not like they could do anything else without a node shrink.
Piling up on FP32 would explode the power envelope across the stack.
Actually, i'm just here playing vidya on my ryzen + rx560x notebook while my rx480 desktop mines me buttcoins.
I took a short break to come and see what Nvidiadorts are doing and it turns out it's being exited that a new generation of cards out performs the old generation of cards, like every single new generation of gpus in history.
