So when are we getting that primitive shader tech?

So when are we getting that primitive shader tech?

Walk down the hall and ask Curry Man yourself.

Nice Novidia damage control. Enjoy your pedoflops.

>AMD
>Another Massive Disappointment

But I thought AMD were the good guys? Why would they lie to me?

When gamedevs implements them on per-game basis.

This, unfortunately.

But vega is something like 1% of the cards people are currently using. Why would devs ever bother to implement tech for them when they don't even bother with ultrawide monitor support?

Just Wait (tm)

>primitive shader tech
Someone give me a YouTube link about this, whatever it is

Don't bother, it is NEVER EVER happening. It was always meme vaporware that amdrones used to rationalize buying underperforming gpus so they could help their favorite underdog brand.

Post it please

>vaporware
>is working right now on the Pro drivers

The free and open AMDGPU drivers got anything?

Nope

If they can get it to work it will increase performance tremendously. Vega is pipeline starved.
Maybe they are waiting until GTX 2080 is out to release primative shader drivers to BTFO?
Doubt it but could be possible

>The “Vega” 10 GPU includes four geometry engines which would normally be limited to a maximum throughput of four primitives per clock, but this limit increases to more than 17 primitives per clock when primitive shaders are employed.7

No, definitely not. RTG is not in position to "BTFO" anyone.

When AMD can bum enough money to pay for it.
