Thanks for the red arrow, I wasn't sure what this picture was about

Sour grapes...

Why would I want to use such an aweful IDE?

Attached: 1486696484377.png (649x611, 639K)

Isn't it literally just MonoDevelop but using .NET Core though? MonoDevelop already supports .NET Core on Linux if I'm not mistaken about the current state of things.

Best C++ debugger ever made. Also fantastic profiling tools not to be seen on any other IDE.

Cof cof VScode

What about it, nigger? Comes without a debugger.

>being happy to use botnet ide

Does it run with WINE

OH NO! MICROSOFT WILL KNOW MY TOP SECRET YOUTUBE TUTORIAL MALWARE
Never ever, you fat fuck. Fuck outta here with your sour grapes emulator.

>t.windows fag

>t. I need 15 GiB of crap because I can't into the rule of 5 and I have to resort to try and error when implementing algorithms and data structures.
pathetic.

CLion is better. Based JetBrains *deprecating* all MS development platform.

>Never ever, you fat fuck. Fuck outta here with your sour grapes emulator.
Wot, I don't even know what that software is for, calm your tits

everybody pack their stuff, the Indian got mad
saged. poo in loo.

>needing a babby GUI to program
I bet you call programming "coding", don't you

Nobody cares now that VSCode is out

>Clion is better
>DUDE CMAKE LMAO
7GB. And that's with entire windows and .net SDKs for the fun of it. Oh right, your IDE hard drive only has 30GB.
>he writes 5k LOC main.c apps

>GNUtards will still never see a port
>implying GNUtards want a port
no we don't need shitty software

Windbg is better desu, the visual studio version is an easier version of it

Attached: proprietary_software.png (640x380, 353K)

>He unironically says “apps”

If u don't need shitty software then why are u using Linux LMFAO

>we don't need shitty software
I know what you meant, but I still chuckle.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU
which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system
that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run.
The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is
normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system
is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux"
distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

You can't be this retarded

don't care, your whole country is a giant shit hole inhabited by sub humans.

Yeah, because your "text editor" with 96 addons is "totally-not-an-IDE"

Awww, baby booboo got replaced by brown men?
>he uses virtual punchcards in the form of terminal-based editors

I use Vim with 0 addons.
Vim is a basic editor that runs in the terminal.

Attached: 1522608616714.png (890x720, 411K)

Okay, what does it look like when you edit 4 files at once?

so you admit you are actually a shitskin?
kek you should just end yourself.

I can't see a BSD Port, or are you implying that macOS is a BSD and/or BSD Based? Its a Nextstep/Mach Hybrid with certain BSD Userlandtools, that doesn't make it BSD and never will

Fucking BSDlets, when will they learn

Vim has tab support. :tabe opens a file in another tab and you can switch tabs with :tabn and :tabp. I bound :tabp to f7 and :tabn to f8 and :tabn to Tab as well because Tab is easier to hit on my keyboard.

Mac isn't BSD

>:tabe
>:tabn
>:tabp
Dropped. Use real 21st sentrysoftware.

>I use Vim with 0 addons.
Absolutely fucking disgusting.

>sentrysoftware.
Microshit should really train their moneys better, at least teach them english.

You seem like a bait as well

Happens often but has nothing to do with this from my point of view.

ITT : Windows Shills who can't install gentoo

ed is the standard editor faggots.

>having to rely on a debugger to fix bugs

>he """"writes bugless code"""

Realistically speaking who uses a BSD variant that isn't a Mac to program?

Attached: 1528669449556.png (512x512, 160K)

No, he just is able to track bugs without relying on an external program :^)

>wanting to use Visual Studio
Oh my, you really love the software bloat for all the features you don't need. I'd rather use a simpler IDE that doesn't fucking hog up 16 GBs and have a start up time of 1 minute on a fuckking 12 core workstation.

>visual studio
i don't even know what that is.
and i don't want to have it.

all i need from microshit is office 2007 and photoshop.

>bloat
>making assumptions on what others need
You need to
>get sperg pills
>read a handbook

Attached: IMAGINE.png (1600x1552, 2.16M)

Kawaii Megumin, I must agree with that guy.

Really? So you use all the features that come with Visual Studio? Wow. Good for you. Now please tell me some other developers that use all the packed in features of visual studio which make it in 16 gbs.

gdb is the best debugger ever made

I use the nice page visualisation thing on the right and the performance/memory profiler. Cmake has no such thing, so fat chance.
>16 gbs.
I have 10x that ready to use.

>requiring 20 gigabytes of "features" to work
You must be a shitty developer. I bet you are the type that downloads "is even" from npm and writes hello world with 100 different dependencies.

Eh, I don't really use cmake either. I personally just avoid software that is so large if I can do the same things with other lighter tools. And it crashes a lot for me in my personal experience when other popular tools work just fine.

Cmake is the standard build platform for cross platform C++ development. You probably don’t need it for your toy projects that only target windows. Come back when you graduate kiddo

No, I literally use the profiler and the visualization. I also use a 256 samsung SSD. I also use an i7 6700k.
Not only can I afford bloat, I purposefully download it because it runs equally as good on a real 21st century processor, as opposed to a core2 duo with spectre mitigations.
>cross platform
You are the 2% market. Nobody cares about you.

>need to have a license for it to work
fuck that, ill stick with clion

Attached: B861E5F8_3516_42D0_B85C_5D8145E12CF6.jpg (600x480, 249K)

Cmake is a build system not an ide retard

Clion needs a license as well you retard. And both are free if you're a student.
Freudian slip since both are equally as obscure.

Microsoft apparently does, as proven by OP pic.

>runs well
How? What do you do with it? I have a fucking high end 12 core workstation at home and it runs like shit. I tried it at work before, and it also runs like shit. The loadup time fucking takes more than a minute!

Yeah but there's tons of free licensing servers for jetbrains

It runs well if all your code are fizzbuzz projects for college

Get a fucking SSD maybe? I usually cache working directories and dependencies on a RAMDisk.

>implying mac users develop anything that isn't CSS and HTML
Wine is not an emulator.

>Wine is not an emulator.
Yeah... whatever

>Comparing an IDE to a build script generator
Are you literally retarded?
