I spent over 7 months without electricity and more than 9 months without residential internet. Phone internet doesn't even count because >caps and it was so intermittent and overall crappy it isn't even worth mentioning it. All I had was my diesel generator and over 10 TB of hoarded anime.

At the end of the day, it was actually the most productive time of my life. Non-stop programming and anime, no distractions. Every. Single. Day.

Fast forward to today, and here I am again wasting my life looking for the next instant gratification post, refreshing my subscriptions to see if anyone has uploaded anything, going on useless IRCs to read the same shit rinse and repeat.
