I wish people would stop using this term. That term was correct a few years back when the hardware couldn't keep up with the software. Get the Dexpad Use better browser NOVA

Did you get bananed? I wanted white colour!
But only black banana or Brown Banana or Banana Banana.

i only wish there were phones available with the quality of s9 rear and front camera. disregarding the other specs..

Haven't tried out the dac yet, but I have a V20 and even with it I can't notice a difference with my M50Xs. The speakers on here seem to be the best I've heard, and I owned a HTC M9.
>>god tier screen >Yeah, with those curved edge gimmicks and edge glare, it sure is. Until microLED surfaces on smartphones, that and every other "god tier" AMOLED screen is still prone to burn-in.
The edges are a little annoying, but this screen gets painfully bright in HDR videos. Beats the shit out of the IPS HDR TV I have e.
Heat doesn't seem bad at all so far. I've been benchmarking and playing games on it and it just got warm. Have not noticed any thermal throttling either.

I stand by my statement. This is the first Samsung phone I've owned and there is a significant amount of random little features, especially in regards to the pen.
Justin Wood
Flaws are Samsung bloat and anyone could steal your buttons in a few seconds if they get their hands on your phone
Jeremiah Lewis
Upper mid range phones are best desu Never spend more than 350€ on a phone

And why would I need all of these in my phone? For media consuption I use my tv or laptop.

I'm posting from my Note 9 now. My only complaint has been the same since S8 >FUCKING BIXBY BUTTON Samsung, why do you insist on forcing me to use Bixby and only Bixby? You let me set Google Assistant as my default assistant why the fuck would you think I'd want a physical button that can't be remapped and exclusively is used for calling your retarded "assistant"
Like shit if they just simply let you rebind it this phone would be absolutely perfect and they could use it as an accessibility selling point!
God I fucking hate Samsung even though I love their phones.
Have you used Samsung Pay? It's a total gamechanger
Also holy shit DeX is a surprisingly awesome experience
Asher Allen
Probably the best phone out here, at least for this year.
If only they doesn't use Samsung Experience and doesn't delay updates.
Isaiah Rogers
I went from a shit Alcatel to my First flagship, a Samsung s7. Never buying a shit phone or even mid range phone again. Will wait for more tests and reviews and get a note 9.
Asher Ward
currently at 4 hr 40 min SOT @ 61% battery. this phone is a beast
it's literally the best out there and they have a based back button

I know, People laughed I say my phone is everything I need. But 90% of my PC usage is can be done on phone. The only thing missing is decent web browser with userscript and stylish support.
Blake White
Yuzu and Via support userscripts. CSS can be injected as userscripts.

>Bixby Thank god for bx remapper I would go mad without it

>I wish people would stop using this term. We won't because it makes sense to use now and will make sense to use in 1000 years. Something optional, you don't use, take space and run in the background you MUST be able to delete it from YOUR device. It's not up to samsung or whatever brand to decide what you can do with YOUR smartphone. Bloat is still bloat, no matter what you think of it. It broadens the attack surface too especially with background services that use the network. And I don't even talk about botnets which is especially true with smartphones.
Free yourself from the "I may need this one day so I don't disable it" mentality. You won't use it ever in most cases.
Jack Cook
i went from a $150 cheapo smartphone to an S8 at the beginning of this year. It was a game changer
Jonathan Torres
>That term was correct a few years back when the hardware couldn't keep up with the software. Uh, it still can't. And couldn't for a long while. People noticed that literally before you were born. Even the absolute best modern PCs have worse response times than 40 years old terminals.
Christian Brown
Yes, but it's not as convenient as using firefox with your old profile, not to mention your add-ons. Also the thing I really miss is open with mpv. If there was a way to let Note9 run something like DSL it would be perfect.
Robert Bennett
>Haven't found a single flaw with this device yet.
Ok here we go >touchwizz >less than 2 years of software updates >severely delayed software updates >dedicated bixby button >more proprietary parts than stock android >apps you cannot uninstall (removing freedom from end user) >edge to edge display + curved screen >worse battery life compared to budget phones
Definitely a "good" phone, but to say it has not even a single flaw is simply stupid.
Stay mad poor fags. This is the best phone on the market. Oneplus 6 is a close second but the jews at Verizon wouldn't let me have it. Papa had to blow a fat stack on this phone and it was woth every penny.
>thinking a phone is a status symbol thats exactly what makes you a poorfag
Andrew Perez
I'm actually thinking of purchasing one of these to try out ARM platform. I'm glad that Samsung came up with Dex so I can boot into Ubuntu from my phone. I'll wait for the price to drop when S10 comes out.
Except a lot of Stacies unironically think this (why else do you think they flock to buy the latest iphone?)
Logan Fisher
What is having to uninstall Star Wars and NFL apps every single time you reset your phone?

Lucas Thomas
Weird how you didn't bother to mention which devices were those.
Adrian Richardson
I don't have a smartphone, I'm just pointing the flaw in your sentence. poors uses as much android and ios... and so do the richs. It's a tool, it gets the job done, nothing more.
Ryan Carter

V20 is the last good phone until eu laws ban locked batteries You can convice be to carry powerbanks after I've tasted swapable batteries
Been looking at the Note9 for a few weeks now, and not sure if I'm gonna go for it or wait till feb for reveal of S10. Or maybe wait anyway since I'm still happy with my M9.
Ayden Ramirez
good luck trying to have an intelligent conversation with these Jow Forums tards OP.they deliberately like making things harder for themselves just so they can stroke their e-pee pee and they also go out their way to defend outdated shit because gahnoo while actually they are just trying to hide the fact that they are poor as fuck third worlders.
In the notes app you can have any color. With the screen off memos you can choose between your "signature color" which is the physical color of the pen, or just white.
Yeah I like the sound on this a lot, the only downside is that only the top speaker faces the user.
I must say, the M9 is a garbage phone. I bought it on release cause I thought it would be a better M8, but it wasn't. That thing is constantly heating up and it is slow. I ended up replacing my M9 with a Next it Robin.
Brandon Martinez
Strange, mine hasn't overheated. Maybe you had a faulty one considering some had the phone crack due to heat around the screen.
>no 5G radio >network is going to be enabled in less than a year in the US Nice work.
Blake Reyes
>maybe 6 metropolitan downtown areas will have 5g networks >worth holding your breath for
I actually live in a confirmed city for Verizon 5g and I don't care. I'm on 1000mbps wifi most of the time. I still hit 3g only areas plenty so I'm not gonna be delusional about 5g coverage

The snapdragon 810 is notorious for overheating. All m9s have that issue.
Elijah Fisher
The note 9 supports gigabit 4g. That's more than enough.
Liam Mitchell
Woah, instead of blowing through your data plan in two seconds, you can blow through it in ONE second!!!!!!!
Josiah Johnson
Good luck trying to replace the battery without the need for a séance.
Julian Torres
>disabling =/= uninstalling
that shit still keeps clogging up the internal storage.

That phone is not worth the price.
