on waterfox you just point it to your index.html, on modern firefox you need to host the page on a local server so it can fetch the css

When I open my browser it goes to my startpage. I either leave that tab open or use the home button if I've closed it and want to go to my startpage again. No need to use a server for me.

It's simple, host the startpage on a local server on your network, then go to your router and set it to redirect you to from the current homepage to your startpage you're hosting
