There is literally nothing comfy about OS 9. The entire OS and all the software for it is shit. You'd know this if you tried to use it outside of a VM or your used Mac tinker toy shitbox. The first OS I ever used was Mac OS 8.6 in 2000 and my god did it ever suck big ballsacks. Finding Unix systems and even Windows after that was a life changing experience.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression people with good hardware and plenty of memory, paired with proper configuration, had a better experience (the same could be said of windows 95 and computers at the time). The computer lab OS 9 stations weren't lacking in either and they sailed pretty smoothly.
