So wst, you want attention for installing gentoo? Fuck off back to r*ddit and install gentoo again.

have u even installed gentoo ever nimgger?

what is your iq

enjoy ur build dep bloat

how long did you stare at your screen while compiling your kernel?
did you feel like a l33t haxx0r?
did you choose a wrong flag and had to recompile your whole system?
do you fall for Jow Forums memes often?

hah i didnt used wrong flag B) i used none

My kernel takes 3 minutes to compile

>no flags
>probably genkernel-all
why even use gentoo at this point

I'm kernel guy, who is not OP. I use flags optimized for my system and exactly what I need, I configured the kernel by myself and I use Hardened Gentoo for more security.

Why though? You can get a perfectly functional, systemd-free shitpost machine with Alpine without the hassle of installing Gentoo.

That makes more sense, if the Posts would be the same guy... would be a facepalm.
Care to prove that you're not the same dude?

Reinstall Gentoo.

>Care to prove that you're not the same dude?
no actual proof of installed gentoo (like Screenshot with todays date.
didn't post proof from (yous).
It's pobably just some dude pretenging...

prove you really did by posting the exact command/s that actually install gentoo

he can just google it in handbook lol

genkernel xconfig all is fine.

Now do it on a real machine.
VMs do not count.

>ama
You need go back

it's not that obvious

Not-OP here. Here's your proof. What you're seeing is my laptop running Gentoo as well as an ssh session connected to the fresh install I just did on my desktop

im curious about the kernel, it says it should auto detect shit but how do i figure out what my shit is and what do i need to enable?

i don't buy it - you just stole it from a desktop thread

>Discord
Why do you do this to yourself and your PC?

see pic
Good question actually. I am using the windowed app wrapper provided by Chromium, so I'm basically just using the webapp, which has less access to OS functions, so it's less bad but still pretty bad.

It does not autodetect anything except when you use some tricks
The default kernel boots on pretty much anything and most settings you have to do are for your GPU and filesystem support

did you lube up beforehand?

Gentoo user sice 2013, honestly I remembered when I got my first install going and was so proud I spammed Jow Forums with INSTALL GENTOO for like 2 days straight.

Good on you. Reject systemd, embrace make.conf

I use Arch BTW guys

Did you get any dependency errors when running the makefile? I seem to have that problem.

Install LFS

180

make -j32

>1050 in Gentoo
Hahaha
