X220 or T420 is a good place to start. Both can be found for under $100 if you can snag a good deal.

Get a T420 or X220, they're amazing and super cheap.

They're mostly dual cores and not worth it. Unless you're going for a roided T5** or a W series

how can i reset the bios?
i tried disconnecting the CMOS battery for 15mins, but that didn't seem to work.

i was able to boot into usb drive with MBR arch linux tho
not anymore.
