they were inconsistent across browsers and configurations before. could very well be back. we already have the Captcha Malware on here

What exactly does the pig squick stuff do?

>adguard
Why would you recommend a worse adblocker when you can add the same filters in uO?

Attached: uO_filters.png (1140x1932, 419K)

Hehe gotem

What filters do I add to stop hiroshimoot without breaking the CSS?

>he blocks hosts using uBlock Origin instead of on the router

Defrnse in depth you brainlet

You can try installing a Jow Forums mod that themes the website. I've been using 4chanX V2 for like 10 years.

github.com/loadletter/Jow Forums-x

Here's to Hiromoot continuing Moot's legacy of ruining the website though. At this rate Jow Forums will probably become a tabloid site that happens to have a sjw imageboard.

because it takes the processing load off the browser. It also works with literally any browser. It allows you to apply userscripts to any browser
and this:
kb.adguard.com/en/windows/features/stealth-mode

I do both dumb frogposter. I use a VPN sometimes so the router wont catch it.

No?

You don't add any. It just werks.

>processing load
This isnt an issue with uO
And uO has much better features like blocking scripts on a per domain basis

test

You can't block scripts at the router.

Result.

Attached: Clipboard01.png (1352x946, 127K)

>using only hosts
You'll be using ublock anyway(unless you're clinically retarded), why bother with the router?

Go back to slashdot, apk. And realize that hosts cannot block URLs within a domain selectively.

Also this

Have you cleared your cache? Dunno mate - werks on my machine

because there's no reason not to do both

banning hosts on the router level helps dumb mobile devices

And pure hosts won't even be able to block hiroshima ads since you'll need wildcards. DNS-based adblockers can do that.

See Also, do you not use VPNs ever?

Yes you can

>block domain
>can't connect to domain
>script from domain isn't loaded

You assume there is nothing of value at that domain.

Dumb mobile devices can't browse internet.
>because there's no reason not to do both
So you see no issues with wasting your time?

Now how do you allow 1 script on a domain and block another script on the same domain?

Sometimes for work. No need for a VPN otherwise. Probably all hosted by CIA and ad companies to datamine you.

Stop moving the goalposts. The original statement was "You can't block scripts at the router." and I proved it's possible. I win so now fuck off.

Just stop posting

...You've never had iDevices connect to your router?

You can actually drop a hosts file on iOS devices if it's jailbroken but it's much easier to just put the hosts file on your router.

>You've never had iDevices connect to your router?
Of course not, I'm a straight white male.

Where do I find these lists? I need India, China and Russia blocked.

You can block domains at the router. You cannot block URLs, extensions or paths. To kill ads and adblock blockers, you very often need to block stuff inside the first party domain, and blocking the whole domain makes it impossible to load the site itself.

uBO also makes it easy to add new block rules interactively, rather than tracing a page load, locating the domain, going to the router's UI, and adding it there.

Is there a way to block i-shit from connecting to my router?

You have a shit router than. I can SSH into my router and make things happen.

That's still more steps than right clicking the offending element, clicking preview and then OK.

pfsense has a package called pfblockerng that lets you block IPs based on geo location. It lists all countries for each continent and it also has a list of top 20 spammers. It also lets you add custom domains to block like I have the same filters shown here

What do we actually know about these domains?

The current state of Jow Forums

they serve ads and do unscrupulous things

also sometimes Jow Forums's css depends on scripts from those websites

like I said:

>processing load
irrelevant on my 32 Core 64 gb meme machine. I've got cores and ram for days.

>back
They never left.

They never left. Keep refreshing and sometimes they'll change.

>block Jow Forums.org
>can't connect to domain
>script from domain isn't loaded
I see no problems here.
