Network. Find any and all events being held by the appropriate groups through your uni, attend them, and talk to everyone. These days it's not so much about your experience (although it makes you more attractive) because you can be trained. Most employers would rather personable, non-spergy adequate candidates than 7 GPA spergs with no social skills. Which fucking sucks because studying and doing assignments is heaps easier than working up the energy to attend a 3+ hour event that involves constant talking.

I'm ruining my life. I know what I should be doing, I just don't do it. I'm neglecting all of my responsibilities and I don't know why. I'm miserable and I can stop it. I want to. Or I want to want to. I just don't do it. I just can't seem to live like a person.

Too late

You need to force yourself to let your actions be judged by other people. After awhile it gets easy to hide and so it gets easy to stray from responaibilities. I know because I am like you and need to take my own advice

stop signs are placed for a reason at the street. No matter if they official or not, you should stop before passing the road. Stop signs improve Ordnung in the streets.

If you can't be assed to include all of the above, don't make threads.

Books and relevant material about argumentation, logic, etc.

Poster's quote:
"Here is a large list of logic books I've collected over time through my philosophy degree.

In general you would need more than philosophy. Philosophy will help you analyse and write arguments in several areas. I'm also doing statistics, and I've also taken a course in rhetoric that was offered. Both of these have come in handy.

For philosophy you should start with logic, metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. Then move into philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, then other major philosophical areas. Normally I would say to read historical philosophy while you do this, but since you are interested purely in argumentation you don't have to (but I would suggest you would, as philosophers are useful to think against and the same themes pop up over and over).

List inbound."

Metaphysics is useful, because it allows you to analyse concepts in a very general way. Like what sorts of properties a concept has, or what sorts of relations. What kind of thing it is. This is pretty useful for analysing concepts within arguments.

You can produce your own probiotic yogourt:
buy:
-probiotic yogourt, 1 time expense
-whole milk 3,5%+ fat
-cream, 40% fat
-cheap vodka
procedure:
clean pot and canning glasses with cheap vodka
mix 1l milk, 200 ml cream and probiotic yogourt in pot
carefully warm up to about 30°C, dont know what °F that is because im not an amerimutt
fill mixture into glasses, leave at room temp for about 1-2 days untill mixture has firmed up
you can use the last glass of yogourt to start a new batch and freeze the yogourt if neccessary.
this yogourt will have about 10% fat, its good for your stomach health and its litterally protein and fat with low carbs, healthiest food you can get.

low self esteem and dopamine cycle problems. get to work on your mindset right now. The longer you leave it, the further you will creep into a hellish nightmare, it can always get worse before you die.

You CAN take control back.

lucid dreaming can be tormenting. I begun a lucid dreaming program where I would play audio in my ears at night telling me I'm sleeping and this is a dream, but what ended up happening was in my dream I " woke up " like a simulated wake up inside my dream which tricked me into thinking I was awake and real and the world was all dark and scary and I was pinching myself to test if it was a dream and the pinch is such a cliche because I did " feel " pain inside the dream when I pinched myself. So when I woke up for real with the lights off I was scared as fuck I didn't know what was real or not

Attached: poem.jpg (1275x1650, 305K)

I used to be like that too but the more I forced myself to read, the easier it was. It's just a matter of putting in a bit of self-discipline and getting accustomed to it. Audiobooks aren't a bad medium, but for certain things like philosophy and science, it's very hard to digest a book in audio format because of how dense the content is.

>nothin personal kid

I read the Count of Monte Christo this summer and thought it was phenomenal. What do you mean by Doskev though? I can't find anything about it on Google.

My bad I was refering to the author Fyodor Dostoevsky. He is also Russian.
The Idiot, Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, are all very good reads. If you want to understand more about social change which lead about to communism (eventually) read Demons.

Thank you!
> don’t get deterred if it takes a while to get it
It definitely will take some time, especially knowing how i do research, but i`ll get there in eventually.
And a very interesting picture. I have noticed asking me this question "Is this a dream, am I awake" increasingly often for the past year or so. I don`t know why, but i get more, what i guess you could call it Deja Vu and they seems to show very precise moments of the future. The moments are pretty irrelevant and short, but they still are there and they freak me out.

I guess there ar some preparations to make if you want to dabble in that. Going in hastily and unprepared will fuck you up.

Attached: DED1FF73-7C41-4E9D-95D7-2BA0E18E1188.jpg (640x620, 101K)

Also do you have any suggestions where one could start when researching this. I dont need a fleshed out plan and every step, just a place to start would be helpfull. A book, essay, website, video, whatever really.

Just go to YouTube and look up lucid dreaming vids. Watch some videos, read the comments, follow the links. There is so much info out there now. It’s really easy to get into.

The main thing that worked for me was meditation before sleeping and making it a point to check if I was dreaming at least every hour of every day while awake. Eventually, out of habit, you’ll check in your dream. Dreams are constantly reconstructing your surroundings so the easiest way to tell is to look at patterns on clothing or the floor, look away for a couple seconds and then look back. Your brain has to reconstruct the pattern again and it will be different. You’ll notice and realize you’re in a dream.
