Part of me wants to get the surgery done ASAP but part of me says it’s not right to spend all of my emergency fund on my dog being that she’s 10 years old and doesn’t appear to be in pain. Shes a bitch and will cry at the slightest pain so when I feel her leg she doesn’t whimper or cry, she doesn’t even care, but then she won’t put weight on it when she walks around.

My vet said i can take a conservative approach for 2-4 weeks to see if gets better if I don’t want to rush into surgery but he said after that point it’s most likely going to be needed.

Also, that her other leg has a 50% chance of giving out based on the fact one already has.
