MACTODDLERS BTFO

MACTODDLERS WILL DEFEND THIS

Piss on grave. It's a lie btw.

>source ur arse?

>t. BTFO'd mactoddler

yes i'm totally btfo'd aint gonna use mac ever

Looks like SystemDick just pozzed youd Maccy.
Shortly after the NSA tools released in the 4.17 kernel as well. Subtle, but the evidence of complete control is there.

What, they're not using launchd anymore?

My jaw would drop, but after a few hours of people making stupid memes about it, I'd probably stop caring entirely. I'm already avoiding systemd while using GNU/Linux. I'm safe, even if the masses are not.

BTFO IPAJEET
POO IN THE LOO

still don't get this systemd holy war.

It's just that? a senseless fight just because yes?

Systemd is linux left on the hand of a single egocentric idiot that refuses to fix basic flaws.

Its a few things:
A) Systemd is inherently anti-POSIX and anti-UNIX.
B) You can't just use one part of it, because the rest of it systemd expects the other parts of systemd to be there. Even if you disable networkd a lot of programs will ping against the """disabled""" service and it'll fuck up your configurations anyways
C) The developers are absolute fucking shitheads who respond to critical-tier bugs with "Not a bug/Not Fixing" because they refuse to acknowledge they wrote garbage
D) Systemd wants to replace the job of the kernel, effectively. It wants to be your boot system, initramfs system, network controller, service manager, logging system, watchdog, acpi battery manager, etc. etc. etc.
The retarded developers argument that "that isn't bad" is "Linux is a monolithic kernel and therefore our monolithic system is okay"

Systemd is how Windows was originally designed and you cannot escape the inevitable mounds of horrifying technical debt that accumulates, especially when written by such incompetent, immature developers. They tried to get dbus or whatever its called integrated into the kernel and Linus told them to fuck off because it was so inane, and they often make bug requests for developers to integrate THEIR software for systemd instead of the other way around.

They're just shitty people with a shitty product that happens to be convenient for distro maintainers, so a lot of people default to it.

Ever tried checking something somebody says on Jow Forums?

>unix-like
MacOS is literally certified UNIX, it isn't a UNIX-like.

If systemd was brought over, that'd be pants on head retarded.

fagOS will never be unix, deal with it mactoddler

And Windows will never be an NT system?

> Even if you disable networkd a lot of programs will ping against the """disabled""" service and it'll fuck up your configurations anyways
completely false
rest of post is more of this garbage

whatever macos uses (launchd?) is an old design and is probably in poor shape, systemd wouldnt be a downgrade

Niggerfaggot, you pull this horse shit every other thread like it means something. Your certs do not matter. POSIX compliance matters and fagOS doesn't meet the standards. Apple just tosses money at the Open Group and Unix is a dead meme anyways. Linux was offered certification at one point and Linus Torvalds rightly refused it, because it's worthless. Linux isn't Unix, just like MacOS isn't Unix and never will be. It's a bunch of pieces of Mach cobbled together with BSD extensions. Even Windows was POSIX certified at one point, and Windows still wasn't Unix.

Go fuck yourself, mactoddler.

didn't systemd break tmux and that resulted in them blaming openbsd?

Go back to /lgbt/

Are you high? Linux isn't POSIX compliant and MacOS *has* been POSIX compliant since 10.5 Leopard.
