Your average archtard after installing arch linux for the first time.
>Downloads iso and makes bootable usb
>Boots up into Cli.
>Connects to the internet
>Configures partitons and other shit.
>Uses pacstrap to download basic packages required for system to work.
>Chroots into system
>Follows the guide till the end
>Installs some GUI
>Claims that his system is supperrior cause he knows what is on his system and that he configured it.

wtf thats me

Cool

Gentoo users think they’re superior because they “compiled” their software,

Still they have more knowledge than your average arch linux user

Heres how I did it.

> install antergos
> wtf nothing works and AUR Makes no sense
> uninstall this bullshit
> install kubuntu
> based KDE
> redpilled apt
> everything just werks

Arch is the worst meme on Jow Forums

>archfahs btfo by a weeb
double yikes

>all that greentext
>Manjaro

>kubuntu
>everything just werks

Literally opposite experience for me.
>Install kubuntu
>Problems consistently showing up without me even messing with any packages
>decide fuck it, time to try something non-debian based
>Install antergos, at first didn't know how to work with an arch based distro
>Within a few days I'm familiar with the differences between the two and how to effectively work with AUR and pacman
>In-depth wiki with an immense amount of information on almost anything linux related
>Constantly updating packages to latest version with a non-lts kernel, have yet to face any kind of problem
>Can't live without AUR anymore, stuck with using archbased distros
Even gave many other different debian distros a go before installing antergos such as kde neon, pop os, ubuntu budgie and the deepin distro, but none compare to kde antergos for me

that's because gentoo users read programming books during compiling time

She's cute

No need for books, compiler messages is all we need.

Cute girl, what's her name?

>She

Dunno, found on google images

it's true, there is no bloat since you have to install all the additional software

Not exactly, I had installed both systems. Gentoo usually takes more time and configuring kernel was confusing especially first time.
