replace seasonic with bequiet

why?

good silent PSUs

Noctua is a shitty meme

Noctua's a Germany/Taiwan company with a base in Austria.

Explain your specific technical issues with Noctua fans and provide several examples of fans from other manufacturers that beat them in your stated performance metrics.

>2 out of 3
Thermalright for fans, don't regret the purchase in the slightest anyway.

do bequiet have a way to stop coilwhine? my seasonic has a perceivable coilwhine but is otherwise fine

Nice try Seasonic shill

Super Flower from what I remember used to be good PSUs, not sure how they are now.

enermax.com PSU's

its not German or Austrian at all its a bunch of chinks and you know it.

>enermax.com
just ordered a Silverstone SFX-L 800w with their internals hope enermax know how to fucking make a PSU or ima be pissed.

>noctua
shit colored fans

>fractal design
overpriced shit

>seasonic
all their psu is made in the same factory as corsair

>all their psu is made in the same factory as corsair
you mean corsair resells seasonic power supplies

Doubt bequiet make their own power supplies. More than likely that seasonic is the actual manufacturer.

Most kinda nice power supplies are silent these days anyways. Most nice ones have the fan turn off when the load is low.

I like you

This.
Also Bequiet for their CPU Air-Cooler.

DH-15 never fail me

They're cheap and they work well enough. But their AM4 clip mount is horrible since you can't mount the cooler for a more traditional front to back airflow.

Got one of theirs in my LGA1150 system and it works great there. It isn't as good as my noctuas, but it is good enough and is much cheaper.

>t. wütender Schlandmann

Expensive but worth it, have lots of the fans and a couple of smaller CPU towers in a 19" rackmount server case. Just got a NH-D15 for my new desktop ryzen 2700x build that's arriving later today, pretty hyped

Forgot to add, also building in a define r6 with a seasonic PSU

b..but muh Scythe

>Noctua is a shitty meme
>The only manufacturer that uses solder for attaching fins to heatpipes
>meme
kys faggot
I would replace Fractal with Phanteks

>nucucktua
>fatcat design
>söysonic

Be Quiet is up there with Noctua nowadays.
Replace Fractal's cheap shit mem cases with Phanteks.
Seasonic is alright.

There are no power supplies that come close to the noise and quality level of be quiet!

>replace fractal with phanteks
No you faggot, they make worse cases

Still waiting for the blacked NH-D15, they should come out in one or two months apparently
noctua.at/en/noctua-at-computex-2018

>Buying anything designed by swedistan cucks.
Retard

They are better in nearly anyway, better noise levels without choking your system like the pedo300
>back to pol you disinformation shill

I have a NH-D15, its pretty great. Easy to install and outperforms some liquid coolers, good RAM compatibility too.
The one thing I don't like about it is how big it is. My case has handles on the top and I transport it a lot, I end up removing the air cooler when moving it because its heavy and scary. I'm trying to come up with a way to hold both it and the GPU in place while transporting it.

>unironically wanting your cpu cooler to be blacked

I have a Fractal R6 Blackout, so I want to fit the colors

Fractal is cheap though

>i want black fans

then buy them you autist, the heatsink is still chrome color what is even the point

So can you explain why you are ok with paying extra for branding?

I prefer Cougar over Noctua.

depending on products branding is higher quality then oem, like a diffrent line with better q&a requirments.

>not embracing the poo

Attached: guts.jpg (1824x1368, 426K)

I used to be a Seasonic fanboy until I got one with horrible coilwhine.
Had it exchanged 3 times, all of them coilwhine.

Won't be buying Seasonic again.

Model? Almost all brands have a turd here and there.

>fractal design
>overpriced
It couldn't get much cheaper unless you're buying mATX shit from the rebate bin.

>Replace Fractal's cheap shit mem [sic] cases with Phanteks expensive shit meme cases.
Loving every laugh.

>disinformation
He's not wrong about the Swedes, it's just irrelevant. Case design is simple enough I'd have no problem letting autistic children do it.

if you buy another brand you're just going to get a rebranded seasonic anyway, if it's any decent quality.

Isn't Zalman considered God Tier? Noctua coolers are too massive for my taste...

Zalman is considered utter trash

Bequiet sources their good supplies from Seasonic, you retard.

Afaik BeQuiet gets their PSUs from FSP.
Still, BeQuiet and SeaSonic are both top tier.

So from reading this thread I see that Phanteks is apparently shit. I am not saying this is true so don't attack me.
I am looking to buy a P400S tempered glass case, what is a good Fractal Design alternative in a similar price range?

you mean fsp and seasonic.

Really? All the engineers + ceo and rest of management are chinks? The white guys are just for PR? Setting the company in Europe just so they can claim to be EU company?

They should supply heatsinks with the NF-A12x25

Corsair is the best. They're rich so they don't penny and dime you when your components fail.

>corsair psu fails
>they send you an advance replacement
>brand new advance replacement comes with a preprinted label
>you drop your defective psu into box the rma came in and ship it off

Seasonic
>contact them via email
>they troubleshoot
>ask for your receipt
>you ship it off to them
>you email them after 3 weeks asking wtf
>"yeah it takes 3~6 weeks"
>you email them after 6 weeks
>"goddamn hol up"
>at this point you buy a new psu
>one day a package shows up on your door
>it's the rma and they didn't even bother to give you the tracking number
>you open it
>it's used, slightly scuffed up, and there's dust inside
>sell it on forums and never buy Seasonic again

no, it's silverstone x3.

>buy poo fans
>have a 50/50 chance of getting mismatched poo shade

Attached: china-tajwan.jpg (1434x851, 320K)

You must've done something very wrong to kill a Seadonic PSU.
Their RMA department is shit because it'd be pointless to invest in a department they're gonna use twice a year.

>seadonic
This is what I get for being a lazy fuck and not getting up to use my desktop. Which has a Seasonic PSU in it, by the way.

China>Taiwan

i thought taiwan was china?

meme cooler

>Seasonic
You should unironically avoid Taiwanese companies as much as possible.

Asus for mobos and graphics cards, samsung for SSDs and you have the holy pentagram.

>Asus for mobos and graphics cards

lol what. Maybe if you only buy their most expensive shit, in which case any other company would be the same.

Are evga motherboards even good? That's your only non-chink option for motherboards.

Any good affordable 550w modular PSUs?

if only there were a reputable power supply brand mentioned in this thread...

>Noctua
>Fractal
>Not expensive

ASUS is based
You buy cheap shit? Fuck off poorfag.

das rite white boi, we taiwan now

Attached: das rite.jpg (3080x374, 139K)

>the (((holy))) trinity
Silverstone and Nidec make much better fans than Noctua
Phanteks and NZXT offers more than Fractal design
Superflower is cheaper and in the same league as Seasonic.

Wow! Very Cool!

It's a cooperation between:
Rascom Computerdistribution Ges.m.b.H. and
Kolink International Corporation

So I would guess most R&D is chink.

Wrong. It's bequiet, Cosair, and ThermalTake.

Whats the best peripheral brand?

>DC motor
What more needs to be said? DC motors are fucking trash

Amazon Basics

>implying brushless motors are actually DC

Does BLDC motors produce 3 phase internally to drive the motors? If so then gg

I'm confused by what you want. What technology do you think should be used and what manufacturer uses said technology in their fans?

As a matter of fact, some six-slot Noctua motors do.

Attached: noctua_three_phase_motor_1.jpg (610x608, 108K)

Because he's retarded.

Stay in /v/
Nice. Well they're getting pretty fucking nice then. Hopefully the DC motor meme dies

That's not an answer. Brushless DC is still DC. Are you asking for AC motors in tiny computer fans? Like I said I really don't know what you want.

If it's using ac phases it's not a DC motor, now is it? There's plenty of 120vac 60-200mm fans

>brushless DC is still DC
It's not. Brushless motors modulate an AC waveform (even if it's far from sinusoidal) to drive the windings. DC motors have a commutator and just switch polarities a certain number of times per rotation depending on the number of poles in their rotor. If computer fans had DC motors I can assure you the noise the brushes would make would be way higher than even brushless 15k rpm server fans.

So what are the 2018 tiers for power supplies?

All of them have Gold, Platinum and Titanium now

>shital
no thanks

look for a reviewer like hardocp that does a thorough 80+ load test on the specific PSU you want
hardocp.com/article/2018/08/28/seasonic_focus_plus_platinum_650w_psu_review/6

that way if you know what your expected load is you know what % efficiency you are actually getting and what sort of heat/cap wear you can expect

Seasonic makes fanless psus you tard

>Austria
You mean Ostmark, ja?

Attached: 2000px-Deutscher_Bund.svg (1).png (2000x2020, 1.4M)

AMD
INTEL
ORACLE

Attached: 1511917663151.jpg (800x1000, 228K)

if your paying that much for a cooler they should at least weld the fins together. would make your temps like 25deg better. but they don't. expensive radiators are welded why not cpu coolers.

because enemax doesn't make a 800w model only a 700w one and I couldn't find it online. lian lia make a 750w one but its out of production. would have brought the cheapest one if it still was.

Seasonic makes Corsair PSUs.

No. They make A few of them, sure

I doubt the german part is anything more than just a front requesting designs to a chink design house that designs and manufactures industrial fans.

lamptron fans/ whatever case / seasonic, or superflower psu

> noctua
into the garbage
